Even though sales was the main part of my role at Phones4u I always put customers first whilst keeping my position friendly and confident at all times. I always go the extra mile for my customers and colleagues - even if not required. My previous job role was on a busy reception desk in a four star hotel. I can run the desk alone on a busy check in/out day as well as complete all shift work and deal with telephone enquiries. I was appointed employee of the month twice and had several thank you letters from customers pleased with the level of service they had received from myself. I dealt with personal, business accounts whilst setting up and updating sales ledgers. The hotel was open all year around so I had also worked Christmas and new year’s eve/day which shows I have the commitment for my job. Whilst working at the hotel I undertook several training courses and also completed an NVQ level 2 in front office within 6 months. I can use Microsoft office programs and also other operating systems. Working on the reception desk I would monitor petty cash and also stationary ordering for my department and up selling bonuses. even though I was not in a senior position I was often treated as a supervisory member of staff.
