The Women’s Energy Network Greater Colorado (WENCO) was established in November 2016 as a merger with the Denver-based Women In Energy (WIE). The merger established one, unified group that has quickly become Colorado’s premier resource for women working in all sectors of the energy industry.Since our inception, WENCO has delivered unparalleled networking, professional development and community outreach opportunities to women in all aspects of the energy sector throughout our great state. Founded in 1994, WEN is an association for women and men that provides networking opportunities and fosters career and leadership development. It is a global, nonprofit organization of professionals who work across the energy value chain. So unlike other organizations, WENCO is not an industry-specific organization, and thus is uniquely situated in Colorado to provide its members with the broadest scope of career enhancing opportunities.
