The Women’s Energy Network Greater Colorado (WENCO) was established in November 2016 as a merger with the Denver-based Women In Energy (WIE). The merger established one, unified group that has quickly become Colorado’s premier resource for women working in all sectors of the energy industry.Since our inception, WENCO has delivered unparalleled networking, professional development and community outreach opportunities to women in all aspects of the energy sector throughout our great state. This year will be no different, as we explore the theme “BE RESILIENT” and implement this throughout all our 2020 programming and events.

Founded in 1994, WEN is an association for women and men that provides networking opportunities and fosters career and leadership development. It is a global, nonprofit organization of professionals who work across the energy value chain. So unlike other organizations, WENCO is not an industry-specific organization, and thus is uniquely situated in Colorado to provide its members with the broadest scope of career enhancing opportunities.

Actively worked to expand the organization’s footprint in the oil and gas sector. Worked collaboratively with internal team and clients to generate win-win solutions for critical talent needs. Identified new approaches for Drawbridge to attract clients and grow existing client relationships. Developed lucrative new contract field staffing solutions for upstream and midstream companies in the oil & gas sector. In addition to business development initiatives, performed full life cycle recruiting for roles ranging from field level on up across the energy sector. Identified and implemented new Applicant Tracking System for the organization, which lead to increased visibility into talent database, recruiter performance, and promoted increased lead generation for open requisitions. Designed and negotiated new contract relationships, terms, and conditions.

Worked with clients to identify and to plan for potential risks with their organization. Presented clients with crucial insurance options designed to address their unique operational needs including professional & general liability, product liability, pollution coverage, property coverage, cyber coverage, directors & officers coverage, workers compensation, payroll, financial services, group health plans, etc.

As operational team leader for the firm, effectively managed daily business while also actively recruiting and placing top talent for clients. - Identified, developed, and implemented new talent sourcing strategies such as internet sourcing (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, OilPro), content marketing, and online networking across a team of five recruiters. Provided ongoing training and coaching on recruiting processes for staff recruiters. - Provided day-to-day leadership of RTS CORP staff (accounting, administrative, marketing, and recruiting team). Continually strove to develop a positive climate for learning and professional growth for all RTS CORP team members. Mentored junior recruiters on a daily basis. Fostered a positive team of recruiters to share leads, sourcing strategies (passive and active), and industry insights. In addition, motivated team to increase placement performance through shared analytics and new commission structures (focused on quality of hire not only placement). Encouraged our team to attend training webinars, events, lectures, certifications and workshops in order to have our team remain effective in a fast-changing market place.- Secured new clients, strengthened existing client relationships, obtained exclusive contracts, managed all client relationships. Met with new and existing clients to gather information and develop recruiting plans for specific hiring needs (contingent, retained, temporary, or payroll).- Fostered solid communication between RTS CORP’s team and client’s team during all search assignments. Managed client expectations regarding their target search and current market availability. Coached client hiring managers and executives on job description creation, compensation packages, candidate interviews, and employment offers in order to increase talent placement success. Maintained courteous communication between hiring managers and human resource teams throughout search stages.

- Independently recruited and placed non-technical and technical scientific staff including: geologists, geophysicists, reservoir engineers, drilling engineers, petrophysicists and environmental engineers, as well as corporate executives, professional landmen, accounting and finance staff, business administration professionals, and executive assistants. - Sourced and nurtured a network of passive oil and gas professional candidates in the Rocky Mountain region. Leveraged professional connections to educate ongoing and future client searches. Attended industry networking events and conferences in order to represent RTS CORP to new clients and candidates.- Cultivated new and existing relationships with clients. Worked directly with clients from the opening of initial requisitions through delivery of offers to candidates. As a Co-Founder of the company, I managed daily operations of FeelGoodNow Inc. including but not limited to: business development, client management, project management, financial management, and human resource management. Developed online marketing strategies with clients. Trained clients on how to leverage new internet strategies to connect with customers. Established digital training programs with FeelGoodNow team for clients to learn how to use Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google+ and LinkedIn in marketing their practice or company. Led in-person workshops for professionals on marketing strategies. Managed a team of six in-house marketing professionals on a daily basis.
