Welcome to my LinkedIn profile! My name is Cali Garcia. I’m a retired army veteran who served alongside the 10th Mountain Division. I am now currently enrolled in my Bachelors program at UVU majoring in Physcology and International Relations.In addition I intern with a local teen center. Focused primarily on creating an inclusive, safe, and reliable environment for displaced and fostered teens. I’m very passionate in the advocacy for child welfare and bringing a universal importance and awareness to human rights. I currently have my own nonprofit organization known as “Books for the Philippines”. My charity focuses on collecting used or new books educational, nonfictional, fiction etc. and shipping them off to rural and low income schools in the Philippines that don’t have access or are provided books of their own.
