I am currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Rochester Medical Center. My current research focuses on the effects of developmental exposure to air pollution on the brain, with an emphasis on life-long impacts. I conduct this research using immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry and microscopy. My graduate school research also involved these techniques, giving me a strong foundation for future growth. Throughout my journey to where I am now, I have taken every opportunity provided to me to further my education. My self-directed learning has involved extensive delving into scientific literature, resulting in the ability to come to conclusions and solutions to a variety of problems, regardless of the scenario.
