Directed a 12-member team at Caltex (a Chevron company) accountable for the creation of protocols and audits in operations to ensure legislative, safety, and industry compliance at 23 facilities, including manufacturing/warehouse, distribution verticals (airports, shipping, trucking fleets). Project managed activities to simplify, eliminate, and automate work processes, streamlining supply chain efficiencies. Served as the Risk Management Advisor to Caltex Leadership Team.• Member of the Caltex Learning & Governance Committee focused on developing and standardizing training strategy and methods across Caltex companies.• Managed contractor safety, facilitating the on-boarding process of contractors to meet industry, company, and individual qualifications - awarded Caltex Stellar CEO Award.• Coordinated monthly Operational Excellence Risk Committee forums focused on improvements across the supply chain from shipping, storage, transportation, to end consumer; established annual work plan and monthly agendas to continuously exceed YOY targets.• Created verification system to track progress and reporting of KPIs, delivering all KPI’s set- forth gaining compliance in both people skills and asset management.• Developed Strategy & Competency Program for safety critical roles inclusive of recertification requirements. • Implemented the Awareness & Competency Training Program across multiple business units from operational staff to management; program was adopted by the fuel transport industry as the standard (Caltex, Shell, BP, ExxonMobil).
