The Senior Director of Programs is responsible for leading, conceptualizing, and implementing program strategy that aligns with Nonprofit Center strategic goals, facilitating curriculum design, overseeing training and workshop logistics, analyzing data and evaluations, and leading program revenue and expense strategies.

Implements a portfolio of initiatives that strengthens the capacity of the Nonprofit Center’s members through programs and trainings. • Coordinates 200 professional development trainings annually including facilitating curriculum design, recruiting vendors and outside presenters, adding and monitoring events in the CRM, tracking and managing event budgets, and ensuring event logistics and program evaluations are executed.• Works with the program team to align strategy and activities to the Nonprofit Center’s strategic plan and develops new initiatives where appropriate.• Develops, tracks, and reports on initiative performance and outcome goals regularly. • Writes and reports on restricted program grants.• Coordinates with the Marketing Director to publicize events to members and the community.• Leads planning and implementation of the Nonprofit Works Management Conference which attracts over 250 people annually. • Manages interns on special projects. • Facilitates trainings on Project and Event Management, Volunteer Management, Board Roles and Responsibilities, and How to Start a Nonprofit.

Acted as the first point of contact for Nonprofit Center members and visitors and provided logistical and administrative support to the Program Director, Membership Director and CEO. • Maintained Nonprofit Center database and online services such as the Jobs Board and Board Bank, WeGive.org, and The Nonprofit Link. • Processed membership applications and renewals. • Executed event logistics such as coordinating vendors, preparing materials, managing registration, on-site set-up and break-down of events.• Provided support at Board and Committee meetings, prepared board manuals and packets.

Dance Trance Fitness has multiple locations across the country. As a Dance Instructor in Jacksonville, FL I lead multiple classes a week for adults wanting to learn dance - you can find me at our locations in Riverside at the Winston Family YMCA and Jacksonville Beach at Nova Dance & Wellness Academy.

In Clay County, Take Stock in Children is a grant program of the YMCA of Florida’s First Coast. The YMCA acts as the lead agency, providing operations support to the program. As Program Director, I recruited students, volunteer mentors, and strategic partnerships, coordinated curriculum and resources for students and volunteers, and raised funds to support student’s scholarships and activities. • Managed one part-time staff member, 55 long-term (1+ year commitments) volunteers, and 65 students.• Recruited a volunteer leadership committee of key community stakeholders that helped to fundraise and plan annual events.• Trained mentors about the mentoring mindset and provided counsel as issues arose between mentor/mentee pairs.• Provided college and career readiness workshops using a blend of TSIC curriculum and brought in outside vendors to educate students on topics such as financial management, ACT/SAT Prep, completing the FASFA, and more. • Oversaw a grant budget partially funded through a public/private partnership with the state of Florida and the Florida Prepaid College Foundation; Raised additional operating dollars and scholarship funding through a combination of private donors, foundations, and special events; Increased annual fundraising by 175%.• Directed the annual 5k event and increased participation of both sponsors, vendors, and attendees two years in a row. • Met and exceeded every KPI in the 2015-2016 grant year and was rewarded with performance funding for program growth. • Received a Special Judges’ Award at the 2016 Celebrate Clay Awards, funded by the Paul E. and Klare N. Reinhold Foundation. • Worked on the Volunteer Growth and Impact Team for the YMCA of Florida’s First Coast, which develops and suggests areas for strategic improvement impacting volunteer practices of the entire organization.

Took photos of graduates at highschool and collegiate graduations throughout the state of Florida. Photos included candids before, during, and after the ceremony, portrait shots, PR shots (speakers, key officials, etc.) and the "handshake" of graduates receiving their diplomas.

Worked directly with the Executive Director and the Director of Development to assist in major fundraising and communications projects through marketing and design, written appeals, special events, and grant research and writing.• Maintained the DonorPerfect database for donation and pledge tracking, acknowledgment letters, and general stakeholder information gathering. • Produced a quarterly newsletter in both print and electronic formats using Publisher and Constant Contact. Other materials designed include brochures, sponsorship packets, and written appeals.• Coordinated two special events, an annual 5k and an inaugural plated dinner gala, acting as the main point of contact for sponsors and volunteers. • Wrote and received a grant for $367,000 from the Florida Housing Finance Corporation to finance building a house for persons with developmental differences.• Received education on the Benevon model of fundraising and wrote appeals as part of a major capital campaign. • Supervised the Ladies’ Auxiliary volunteer group, providing guidance and management for their annual projects. • Developed speeches and PowerPoints for community presentations and scheduled daily tours of the facility for prospective donors, grantors, and vendors. • Development of a Product Catalog for marketing items made by our participants to businesses within the community.

KidzArt is a unique multi-media arts enrichment program which focuses on elementary school children but also works with toddlers, teens, and adults. I was trained in art curriculum and classroom management to lead large groups through a variety of art projects, from clay, watercolor, oil pastels, etc., to create a work of art in usually one hour sessions that they were able to take home that day.
