CALLED is a Christ-centered, rock 'n' roll outreach ministry that came together in the fall of 2011 when Joe Hernandez (guitar/vocals) and Dan Gomez (guitar/vocals) felt led to team up as band mates for the Lord. Combining their guitar playing skills would bring about the beginnings of CALLED's rock sound. Soon after, the CALLED lineup became complete with the addition of a powerful rhythm section: Victor Rosales (bass) and Steve Guzman (drums/vocals). Being seasoned musicians from deep south Texas, CALLED was prepared to bring excellence and versatility in glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ through their songwriting and original musical arrangements.Armed with a solid lineup and strong music to match, CALLED was ready to fulfill its purpose to rock the world for Jesus. Thus began CALLED's outreach mission which has brought about numerous opportunities to share the Gospel of Christ through their original Christian rock sound in local clubs, festivals, private parties, churches, even public schools! It is CALLED's passion and desire that all people, young and old, saved and lost, need and deserve to hear the Good News of salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ by ministering anywhere and anytime an opportunity arises.
