Oversight and support of implementation of cGMP Quality Management System with successful UK MHRA (5) and US FDA (3) GMP inspections. KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES• Organising the effective and safe operations of the Laboratory.• Leading the operations and technical staff.• Formulating and executing operational staff training and development plans.• Formulating and implementing operational policies and control procedures.• Managing commercial projects and customer accounts.• Generating and presenting key management information relating to commercial operations.• Submitting capital proposals and financial budgets.• Building professional and enduring relationships with external customers and suppliers.• Supporting implementation of the company Quality System.

Responsible and accountable for the Regulatory, Scientific, Operational and Quality functions of the business.Providing scientific advice on analytical study designs on nicotine products in support of worldwide product applications/notifications, including US PMTA and UK Medicinal Products and subsequent liaison with regulatory bodies such as the US FDA and UK MHRA.

Responsible for the integration of GMP analytical services into an existing ISO17025 accredited facility and subsequent execution of routine analytical operations and development services to cGMP standards. Including:• Planning and management of analytical workload• Providing leadership to the analytical operations team• Monitoring laboratory efficiency• Managing technical projects including test method development and validation projects

Development and validation of analytical methods for inhaled and medicines and novel therapeuticsDesign, execution and reporting of stability studies for drug product development programsManagement of scientific teams and global pharmaceutical contracts
