Portfolio Link: https://zeiferz.artstation.com/Callen is a concept designer in the entertainment industry and is passionate about bringing new concepts to his work.Graduating with a diploma in Multimedia Computing from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, where he majored in Computer Graphics, 3D and Web Design, he went on to pursue a Concept Art diploma at Egg Story Digital Arts School. Seeking to further hone his craft, he flew to Pasadena, California to enroll at Concept Design Academy (CDA) where he specialised in Environment and Creature Design.He started his professional career at Re’al Sanbox (RSB), where he worked on multiple project titles including Unilever’s “Paddle Pop” (2012), “ChopChops” and ”Control” (2013) starring famous Hong Kong actor Daniel Wu.As Lead Concept Artist in Egg Story Studios (ESS) Singapore, Callen worked on the concept art process for the live action feature “Bashira”, a Hollywood and Japanese supernatural thriller. He was essential in the ideation and storytelling process, and worked from pre-production to post-production to ensure that ideas came into fruition. This was made possible through his close collaboration with the director, producers and set designers during production in Buffalo, New York.In 2020, he also worked on an award winning animated short film titled “Journey” created by Moon Bandit Studios. It won multiple awards across the globe, at festivals such as Istanbul Film Awards, Vertigo Film Fest and Prisma Rome Independent Film Awards.Across the years, Callen has also done work with various toy companies such as Capcom to create toys for franchises like Doraemon and Megaman.
