About Callen Sapien

I started my professional life before most do. I had no formal education from the age of ten to twenty-five when I earned a 4.0 and my Bachelors in Sustainability Management with a focus on Mathematics. What this meant was I started work earlier and had to work harder and smarter than anyone else to make ends meet. What this led to was almost 17 years of sales. Where smart people, with little education, and lots of drive can achieve great things. I sold everything from mattresses to used cars to electronic components to software. As a nerd, I geeked out on it all, but getting into technology was a natural homecoming. I was good at it, but I never felt fulfilled. I always felt something was missing. 8 years ago, I realized what was missing, driving a greater vision of success beyond a monthly or annual quota. I left sales in a career year with a top-five company finish. I removed the golden handcuffs. In doing so I found a new path and have mentored others to follow. People that know sales have a unique way of attacking strategy and industry would be better off to embrace it. In that time I have become a leader and visionary in product, strategy, and GTM planning and execution motions.In the time since moving I have been core to an acquisition totaling well over a billion dollars, led strategic planning for thousands of colleagues, hundreds of thousands of customers, and millions of end-users, co-owned the greatest Advisory Council I have ever seen, have driven partnerships worth tens of millions and fostered eight-figure acquisitions and their integrations. What I do now is facilitate success for founders and corporate driven organizations. Other current focuses include advising various stage startups largely focused on the MSP industry. Consulting around strategy from an idea, to a raise, to exit.
