I am a senior at Brigham Young University-Hawaii. I will be graduating in Fall of 2016 with a major in Biology and Exercise Science. The Courses and research I have been involved in at BYUH has taught me skills including communication, problem solving, team work, organizational skills, basic laboratory procedures and techniques, critical thinking , evaluation and research skills.In addition to these skills I have developed as a Biology major, I have gained experience in leadership positions working with special needs individuals.I have spent time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity building shelters for the homeless, teaching elementary school children about poverty and working in their Restore. I also put together hygiene and school supply kits for individuals in need in Jordan.I also have had experience working as a Medical Technician with a health clinic. I performed body scans, weight loss body wraps, and electrical stimulation. From this job I also developed data analysis skills, decision making skills, team work skills and customer service skills.
