Hello! I am in my fourth year as a psychology student at the University of Tennessee. I moved here from Austin, Texas to represent the power T on the tennis court and in the classroom. As a student athlete I learned to balance my time and energy between athletics and academics. Although I am no longer playing tennis, those management skills have stuck with me and bled into all other aspects of my life. Being on the team also taught me the value of communication. Through the years, my teammates and I became one body racing toward a common goal and I believe I can bring that into the working world. I have excelled academically while tackling the load that comes with college sports. I am graduating summa cum laud and earned the "Academic Honor Roll" award while competing for the university last Spring. Currently, I hold an internship with Girl's Inc. in Oak Ridge. I have enjoyed carrying out our various programs and experiencing the pure, innocent joy that shines through children. While we teach the girls about hygiene, leadership, positivity, and relationships, we always keep our mission in mind: Empowering girls and helping them become strong, young women.
