I work on bringing Web based education from the traditional 2D online courses to 3D virtual worlds. I am have currently explored LambdaMOO, Second Life, Cloud Party, VenueGen, Eve Online, Open Sim, Jokaydia, SpotOn3D, Unity, (both single and multi user environments). Application sharing; Sococco, Trello, WebX, JoinMe and wil be adding more as I learn these amazing new developments.I have found that most virtual worlds I have explored do offer a more immerse learning environment and because the virtual world platform uses real time information it is as close to "brick and mortar" experience. From 2008 whee I became a moderator to open presentations for people who used 3d virtual platforms in education I have worked in just about every aspect over the last 6 years from building presentation and social areas, to working with volunteers, which in this organization is everything as all of us are volunteers. Last year as Co-Chair of Volunteers I learned how to use Google Drive to schedule and place volunteers in different roles such as Stage Managers where people who come in from different virtual worlds to show how they use 3D platforms for education in higher learning as well as K-12. In 2012 I was responsible for coordinating, scheduling and bringing together about 160 professionals to moderate, stage manage and see to any needs the Presentations required.

The Virtual Worlds Best Practice in Education (VWBPE) is a community-based conference that provides opportunities for participants in all virtual worlds to share current teaching, learning, and research practices in 3D virtual environments.
