Trained as a fine arts painter and watercolorist, I reinvigorated my career as a painter by doing colorful abstracts- seascapes, subterranean and landscapes- while being a caregiver for my mother-in-law these past three and a half years. It was something I could bring with me while she was in hospice, then at home I could work on my World War II narrative nonfiction manuscripts as I need my library close by, because I like to be busy and each activity kept me nimble. Painting is a satisfying respite and writing taps into my intuitive abilities, marrying my love of wartime research and telling stories of women who exhibited an iron will and the spirit of resilience. While my Intuitive consulting and interior design are still me bread & butter, my work is aging gracefully, with my multi-award-winning interior design firm completing a stunning historic restoration crowned by lux custom drapery that only Brunschwig & Fils can offer! If the fit is right, I am taking both fine art and interior design projects as I switch gears into a wild fusion of interests.
