- Through an intense 6-month leadership coaching program established a department structure, key metrics for each position reporting to me, and through weekly one-on-one and team meetings built a well-running high producing department. - Quote turnaround time cut in half averaging 4 days.- Participated in choosing key performance indicators (KPIs) with the management team to monitor and ensure the success of our business per AS9100.- Participated on a “Train the Trainer” panel and have created streamlined versions of our sales processes and procedures to use as training aids. These cuts our initial training period in half going from 2 months to 1. This is a significant savings when onboarding a new employee and having impact on the business sooner.

- Leveraged my engineering background and lead the effort to assist the engineering department with magnet quote costing. By assuming this portion of the quote process, turnaround time was cut in half, resulting in quicker quote response time thus customers can place orders the same day.- Research, prepare, and present proposals in response to customer RFQs to management that are based on actual material, machine and labor time costs from historical job data. Knowledge of the manufacturing process aids in analyzing the trends and anomalies to provide faster quote responses that are more accurate, yielding more stable expected revenue and quicker bookings; usually in less than 24 hours for repeat business. Responsible for maintaining a consistent profit margin on a per customer basis.
