I currently attend Simmons University's Library and Information Science program. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Master of Arts in Libraral Studies with a specialization in Archival Studies, and a Graduate Certificate in World Heritage Conservation. At the moment, I am searching for employment opportunities with a library and/or archives. My previous studies have provided me with valuable coursework from classes such as Digital Archiving, Archives Principles and Practices, Archives History, Theory, and Issues, Principles and Practices of Records Management, World Heritage Convention, and Public History.I have experience in archival work through Converse University and the Archives of Appalachia. During my employment, I established a physical and digital exhibit, as well as digitized several collections published on the Archives of Appalachia webpage. While attending East Tennessee State University, I created a website exhibit for the Chester Inn State Historic Site which can be found on their webpage. Through my digital work for archives, I acquired knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, ArchivesSpace, Audacity, BWF MetaEdit, CONTENTdm, Drupal, embARC, Filemaker Pro, Islandora, Microsoft Office, Mp3tag, Omeka, Open Refine, ResourceSpace, and Smartsheets.During my time working outside of research and historic preservation, I have been employed in positions that allowed me to grow my customer service skills and learn to operate a variety of software such as Recruit, Colleague, Keystone, OnBase, Verafin, and Navigate. Diversity, social justice, and equality is a passion of mine. Research that I have completed for previous positions revolved around such topics to bring greater inclusion to the archives and facilities that I worked for. I am looking for a position that prioritizes these values and intends to continue growing with consideration for the nearby community.Слава Україні
