Joined EMIRATES as Direct Entry Captain (DEC) initially on A330-200. Later in 2015 I was crossqualified to the A340-300 and A340-500 fleet for MFF (Multi Fleet Flying). In 2016 I transferred to the A380 fleet.Silver award for professionalism by Emirates.

Mauritius

Initially operating the A340-300 as First Officer until 2005, where I was offered a Command on the A319. Rejoined the A340 later as Captain with MFF A319/A340.Trainer Core course completed at IAGO, UK.

Germany And Spain

First Officer at FLYFTI, a subsidiary of Frosch Touristik, FTI. Based in PMI (Spain), LEJ (Leipzig) and CGN (Cologne). Initially operating on a wet leased Air Belgium B734 and then A320 back in Germany. Fast track for command but company was in financial trouble and downsized. Took the opportunity to join AIR MAURITIUS as First Officer on A340 during 2 years unpaid leave from FTI.

Cologne, Germany

First Officer on B733 in German domestic and European charter routes, based in CGN (Cologne). First airline Jet experience on ultra short sectors, gaining first airline jet handling and procedural experience. Left for German Charter company FLYFTI to be Spain based and fly European routes.

Kenya

Flying the BE1900 and BE 200 as Commander for ICRC/ Red Crescent operation in Somalia. Based in Nairobi, Kenya.Also acting as planning coordinator with the ICRC Flight ops in Nairobi. In essence,-regular meeting and joint assistance in mission planning in view of operational and political challenges. Switched to become an airline pilot with DBA in 1997.

Maputo, Mozambique

Flying light twins in single pilot ops around Mozambique and the region on charter basis. Gained invaluable experience in the broad aspects of commercial aircraft operations as single pilot, flightplanner, dispatcher, caterer, maintenance manager and customer relations.

Maputo, Mozambique

Working on a UNOMOZ contract on a Cessna Citation as copilot, freelance substitute during absence of regular pilot.
