Business Partner to the UK&I Sales & Marketing teams, responsible for £55m business across Asda, Ireland, Ocado & Amazon and reporting into the UK&I Finance Manager. Providing expert advise and analysis on financial aspects including, inter alia; internal pricing, profitability, mix analysis, trade spend, customer terms and annual price increases. Whilst also evaluating and recommending commercial opportunities that add value to ours and our customers’ businesses while simultaneously understanding risks and implementing course correction initiatives.

Working as a Commercial Graduate across key accounts; Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Ocado and Marks & Spencer’s, helping influence and drive growth of the accounts as well as managing key back-office duties relating to pricing, promotions, forecasting, trade samples, orders, invoicing, promotional tracking and evaluation, and ad-hoc requests. Supported the development and implementation of customer plans, adjusting where necessary. Whilst also deputising internally and externally for the account managers, attending meetings and taking actions on behalf of the team.

Partnering with independent retailers covering hotels, bars, restaurants, cafes, nightclubs, and convenience stores, supporting them to better serve their customers and drive their businesses forward. A dynamic and exciting role where no two days are the same. Supported coverage growth within Central London through identifying new prospects, pursuing new leads and closing deals while working closely with Brand Managers and NAMs.Key achievements include:- Increasing account coverage by 30% through prospecting leads and onboarding new business- Achieved 8 fully serviced platinum accounts in Central London- Supported the opening of a non-profit café with stock, equipment and training, aimed at helping those in need
