I qualified from the University of Worcester in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Primary Initial Teacher Education Later Years (5-11) teaching degree with specialisms in both Mathematics and Physical Education. I have experience teaching in all year groups across both key stage 1 and key stage 2. I also carried out supply work for a year to gain extra experiences within a variety of different schools before beginning my NQT year. This helped with both behaviour management skills and providing exciting ideas to bring to lessons to make them both engaging and challenging. I was the ‘Head of Physical Education’ in my previous school.I have experience in teaching music, for example the Dhol drum. I am part of a drum group and have played at major musical events such as Glastonbury and participated in the Guinness World Record for the highest amount of drummers playing together at once collaboratively.I have also worked as a Senior Recruitment Consultant for Hays Education where I specialised in recruiting temporary and permanent Teachers and TAs within Primary schools. I worked within the Walsall LA. After being a Primary school teacher, I shared my expertise by partnering successful candidates with schools in Walsall.
