Research Intern at Santander UK researching the viability of using Gradient Boosting Methods for modeling Corporate Default Risk. Throughout this placement, I created Gradient Boosted Machines with corporate financial data I self-taught myself the technically s of making them and wrote a literature review alongside an academic paper then presented my findings in a Santander UK internal conference and a Southeast Physics Network (SEPnet) conference. Throughout this placement, I learnt how to effectively manage my time as well as a background of many different machine learning techniques through writing the literature review.
