I travelled to the United States to work in a non-profit summer camp. During my time at camp, I was responsible for seven 10-year olds during the day as well as throughout the evening. I was tasked with safely organising and undertaking activities such as fishing, climbing, swimming and many more. It was also my responsibility to make sure the children had plenty to eat and drink throughout the day. I had to work with the other counsellors to ensure that the kids were always safe and comfortable in their environment.
