This Summer I and a team of my colleagues will be releasing a short 5-8 minute film based around the life of a British hitman. I have been picked to produce on this short which has so far been an exciting and hard-working Role.

I worked as a part-time cleaner at a local school where I work with a team of people to help keep health and hygiene at a high standard.

For one year, I was working full time as a kitchen porter and a chef in the Vine Brassiere Whitefield. I was part of a team that prepped, cooked and served delicious food-based around mainly French and Mediterranean dishes.

My colleagues and I had the task to create a short student film to submit to the Bolton film festival. I was tasked to be the Sound engineer on and offset this involved me in making sure the quality of the equipment we used was up to check. For me, this was the first time I did this as a role, and I had found it an exciting experience, and I thought I did very well doing the task.

I've just finished working as a waiter at the Cotton Kier in Bolton owned by the Hungry Horse company. Here I had a variety of roles that I commit myself to, for example, I could work as a dessert chef, kitchen team member, Waiter/Food runner and Bartender. These job roles have given me experience on how to work well and effectively with a team which I can apply with other jobs; I know how to take management in stocks and portions when serving and making food for guests. I can confidently talk to guests and resolve any complaints or issues that might occur during a regular shift. I also can effectively work under pressure as I can make deserts under the time limit and get them out to guests on time.
