I proactively develop greater awareness of vulnerabilities and positive preventative actions to increase resilience and change unsafe behaviour. Achievements of particular note have included my design and delivery of a collection of books, leaflets and videos to support greater public awareness of cybercrime and preventative action. I lead this project, the Little Media Series, liaising with partner agencies to promote the widest promotion and work in close collaboration with graphic designers and video companies to ensure the delivery of the most relevant and usable products. I have continuously grown and developed the project; managing the creation of scripts and overseeing shot listing and storyboard creation. This initiative has been exceptionally successful with the videos viewed on YouTube over 40,000 times and in excess of 160,000 books distributed. The project has been adopted by 30 partner police services and organisations across the UK and gained further recognition as the runner up for the Innovation Award for Excellence in Fraud Policing 2018 from the National Police Chiefs’ Council.I have proactively contributed to numerous initiatives, including the ‘Decisions and Disruptions’ Lego table top exercise; a game designed to teach people the importance of cybersecurity vigilance. I have presented extensively both internally and externally and serve as a member of the Security and Special Interest Group (SASIG). Show less

Working in close liaison with the Home Office and international police authorities, I prepared cases for the removal of offending individuals from the UK through immigration tribunals. Additionally, I liaised with international organisations and law enforcement agencies, establishing and driving joint investigations through appropriate intelligence sharing. During this time, I designed and implemented bespoke systems used to collate and appropriately store sensitive information. I was involved in the initial testing, considering the merit of providing a specialist officer in custody suites across the MPS to directly manage foreign nationals who came to police notice. There was an immediate need for these officers to exercise focused and meaningful investigations; rapidly collecting, checking and collating data on each individual. To support this in fast time, I created a visual program in Excel; designing a supplementary series of interconnected spreadsheets which automatically fed the data back to a master spreadsheet which could be viewed in real time. Using InfoPath and SharePoint, I went on to create a successful customised database and entry system for the officers to manage their cases. Show less
