To work effectively with partners and Who Cares? Scotland cross-Scotland colleagues toensure members and those who use our services are accessing and benefiting from WhoCares? Scotland national programmes.9. To develop effective relationships with Local Authorities, Public Sector Corporate Parents,Third Sector service providers and funders, business and private sector organisations.10. To support colleagues to develop relationships with communities and local networks forthe benefit of our members.11. To ensure the funding requirements are met and that the impact of the work is recorded,monitored and evaluated.12. To support the Participation and Membership Manager to explore local fundingopportunities across local authorities and secure resources to sustain and enhance ourwork.

Supporting local authorities and health & social care partnerships to work alongside Care Experienced people to:-Deliver the recommendations of The Promise -Continue the development of South Lanarkshire Champions Board and the wider Corporate Parenting programme- Help to embed the practical changes with the passing of the UNCRC into Scots Law-Support the creation of systemic and lasting change around meaningful participation, utilising voice and measuring our impact.

Responsible for creation and expansion of participation/youth work opportunities for care experienced people in South Lanarkshire. Linking care experienced people in South Lanarkshire to their peers in Scotland and the rest of the worldDevelopment of a participation approach to work with all corporate parents, the private and 3rd sector in South Lanarkshire via a Champions Board approach.Engaging key external stakeholders, sourcing local funding links and delivering quarterly evaluation reports.

Main duties and responsibilities include:1. Implement successfully the representative’s development strategy. 2. Support the development and successful delivery of the care council curriculum.3. Work in collaboration with colleagues across 1000 Voices Programme Team, Who Cares? Scotland, the Review Group, the Chair of the Review and associated external networks to ensure representatives are fully supported to fulfil their roles. 4. To effectively develop representatives to ensure their effective and empowering collective contribution to the Independent Root and Branch Review of Care. 5. To ensure representatives are engaged with wider mobilised groups of care experienced young people, especially Champions Boards and are contributing to relevant events and activities of the 1000 Voices Programme throughout the duration of the review. 6. To bring the learning and views from representatives into the wider evidence and research base supporting the understanding of care experienced children and young people in Scotland.

Main duties and responsibilities include delivering learning programmes and developing positive opportunities for young people aged 8-16 and adults in a variety of settings; preparing and delivering programmes which reflect community needs and service priorities; assisting CLD teams to meet agreed targets, objectives and outcomes such as Youth Achievement and DofE and supporting and supervising Assistant Support Workers and volunteers in a safe and secure environment.

Working with young people aged 8-16 in a deprived area to support their physical, social and emotional development. Helping deliver structured programmes designed to encourage young people to attain awards such as Youth Achievement and DofE, take part in community projects and improve their physical fitness all in a safe and secure environment.

Promoted indoor and outdoor play targeting children and young people aged 6-18 through community and outreach projects

Tutored young people aged 9-16 to a proficient level in drum kit and auxiliary percussion, encouraged them to form bands and helped them prepare for yearly concerts
