Advisor: Dr. Suzanne TurnerIn my PhD, I am focusing on paediatric Burkitt lymphoma (BL), a highly aggressive form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. I am exploring the role of intra-tumoral heterogeneity (ITH) in drug resistance using WILDseq, a lineage-tracing method utilising genetic barcodes. Leveraging BL patient-derived xenografts (PDX) from the Turner lab, which mimic clinical heterogeneity, we hope to uncover insights into relapse mechanisms and novel treatment strategies.

Advisor: Dr. Dan HodsonI completed a rotation project in the Hodson Lab, where I investigated SGK1's potential role as an oncogenic driver in DLBCL (Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma). My main focus was designing a phosphoproteomic assay to identify SGK1's downstream targets.During the project, I worked with DLBCL cell lines and primary human germinal center B cells as disease models. I also used gene editing techniques like nucleofection and lentiviral transduction on primary B cells. Additionally, I conducted extensive Flow Cytometry and immunoblotting experiments to analyze cellular responses and protein expressions.
