In November 2014, I was appointed as a Sales Assistant at Sainsburys, Crayford. My main role when working in Sainsburys was working on the tills where customer interaction was an important part of my role and I believe that customers left the store satisfied with the service that they received. From working on the tills, I also had the responsibility to handle cash and card payments. Additionally, through interacting with the general public on a daily basis, I also had the skills and knowledge to help them with any concerns or queries that they had. During my time at Sainsburys I ensured that the customers were happy and dealt with efficiently and politely. During less busy periods I worked on the shop floor which involved clearing unwanted items and restocking the shelves. I also had a limited time working in the stock room. I was regularly asked to work additional hours, which I was happy to commit to and in doing so I was able to help out the Sainsburys team.

Eltham

During October 2014, I completed a week’s paid work at Alderwood primary school as a premises assistant. Due to a refurbishment on the premises, I was responsible for ensuring that furniture and stock was removed, disposed of and rearranged as required. This role also included dealing with the public.
