I was a retail assistant in two different stores within Cumbria in Carlisle and Penrith.

The role focuses on providing a high level of customer service and advising customers on correct pet welfare. Processing various payment methods and meeting company targets are essential. As part of the companies recruitment process I have interviewed potential employment candidates in a face to face interview.

As part of the course, assessed practical aspects helped to work towards the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) Level 3 Personal Training Award. The practical exam included core elements such as Weight training using Giant Sets, Tri Sets, Drop and Pyramid, Forced Repetition Training, Effective Warm Up, Pulse Raiser/ Re-Warm, Cool Downs, Stretching Protocols and CV Training for a specific client goal.

During my time at university I completed the Livesey Award which included volunteering for a certain number of hours at a school or a sports club. I volunteered at Frenchwood C of E Primary School in Preston where I constructed lesson plans and coached children in a variety of sports.

During my time at Carlisle College I volunteered at Rockcliffe C of E Primary School. I helped teach children of varying ages in key stage 1 and 2 physical activity curriculums and also used my initiative to set up an after school football club.
