I was a senior consultant within a property regeneration and development consultancy. My role involved undertaking financial viability appraisals on a broad range of residential and mixed use developments to support local authorities in maximizing the level of affordable housing being brought forward.My role also involved providing advice to local authorities on; the pre-planning process, development partner/ JV procurement, masterplanning, development configuration and site disposals.

I worked within the Public Sector Advisory Team (PSAT) where I provided strategic real estate advise to public sector clients (local authorities, government and universities). My role involved creating cash flow models to support the development, acquisition and restructuring of student accommodation and mixed use assets. I also provided strategic portfolio advice to a range of clients to support income generation, diversification and to help generally strengthen the assets under management. My role involved: data analysis, financial modelling, options appraisals, report writing and presenting findings to clients.I was part of C&W’s ‘socio-inclusion group’ which formed initiatives to improve socio-economic diversity within the company, and the wider built environment industry.I was also part of C&W’s ‘social value group’ where I worked alongside senior colleagues to find ways to improve and quantify C&W’s social value offering.
