I left school in 2014 with 9 GCSEs A*-A and a B in Spanish. I then completed my A levels in 2016 (Psychology, Biology and Photography with a BCC) and took a break from education to get varied work experience and learn more about the working world. I worked a few jobs in different sectors being involved in management, sales, retail, reception, cheffing, catering, barwork etc. This has given me quite a diverse experience and I believe I have learned a lot in these years, particularly interpersonal and team skills, with a desire to create and maintain a vast professional network.I was the acting sales supervisor at a leisure centre and was responsible for managing the finances and accounts of all members during the initial covid lockdowns, and was strongly involved with assisting the customers, giving me great experience with both handling sensitive information, and ensuring customers felt both safe and informed in terms of their finances and membership. I was offered the role on a permanent full time basis but turned it down to study at university.Starting in 2020, I completed a foundation year in Psychology with business to a 2:1 standard and was due to progress onto psychology and neuroscience before switching degrees. I have recently completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence and graduated with 1st class honours, but still have a keen interest in psychology.This degree has led to me developing numerous technical skills, with experience in topics such as: natural language processing, computer vision, machine learning, neural networks, software engineering, database management, web design, cybersecurity and game dev. On top of this, uni allowed me the opportunity to keep on building on my soft skills, such as communication and displaying initiative.In my spare time I like to keep physically active and social. I often go on hikes, either solo or with others, and dabble with photography. I also like to read, write fiction, and solve puzzles.
