About Callum L Grady

Callum L Grady (born 4 February 2001) is a British entrepreneur, mentor, and consultant. A co-founder of Morin Group, YouCloud, and NewtzGrady, he guided businesspeople and thought leaders such as TalkShop editor Adriel Green, and Vanta Records CMO Vrishin Gattu.Born in Southport, he studied business at King George V College, graduating with a BTEC in 2019. In 2018, he co-founded Clickbait, a YouTube news magazine. After graduation, he worked as a salesman in the lingerie and used furniture sectors, and talent manager for R&B musician Vyce. He founded Logical Entertainment in 2019. He co-founded Hydra Incorporated with Morgan Walton and Mebin Biju in 2019, serving as Chief Executive Officer until its subsidiary breakup in 2020.After Hydra, he founded CF, a casual business and talk blog that hosted a number of interviews with entertainment professionals. In 2020, he launched Labyrinth Global, a talent management-turned consultancy firm, serving as its Managing Director since its inception. In 2021, he launched Vanta Records with Vyce (the R&B musician he managed) and his protégé Vrishin Gattu. Meanwhile, Grady became The Asper Company's second highest ranking member of staff when he acquired a 40% stake under an undisclosed deal in April 2021. At Asper's peak, the approximate face value of his equity was $84m, but much of this became worthless when the company suddenly collapsed in early 2022. He co-founded GradyWalton in 2021; co-founded Semantic Holdings, serving as Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, in 2022; and served as a Corporate Specialist at Jarvis Discovery from May 2022.Through his nonprofit work, Grady governs the mentorship programme Briefcase, and used to govern The Callum L Grady Enterprise Project (CLGEP or EP). In 2020, Grady confirmed that he had joined nonprofit fundraising group Team Scouse, and in 2021, he joined mascot union BAMH, alongside his Retail Rental co-founder.

In 2023, along with fellow YouCloud founder Fred Newtz, Callum L Grady launched a new venture, NewtzGrady, to serve as a central holding company for the duo's growing software ambitions. Some of the first projects to be explored by NewtzGrady included AI-backed accountancy software, rapid-build e-commerce websites and a debt assistance application for consumers.Grady led the firm's early branding initiative, including the company's name and initial logo. He did, however, suggest a more effective logo could be a useful investment in the fullness of time.Seeking to expand the company's prospects, Grady pushed the controversial strategy of launching at least 12 subsidiaries every single year. Some business professionals close to the company supposedly saw this as an excessive and forced method, and feared it could lead to a lack in strategic vision. Grady disputed this, stating “Fred is the most incredible technical lead I've ever met, and I like to think I'm a pretty good entrepreneur - sometimes you need to be slow and steady, but sometimes you just have to go for it and be relentless and see where the cards fall.”Upon launch, Newtz and Grady became CEO and Chairman, respectively, with the pair attempting to control all direct corporate management in-house. This led to Grady handling the company accounts (although he once claimed to be in the bottom 20% of financial staff when he worked an economics role at e-commerce platform Retail Rental), and Newtz organising much of the technical strategy and long-term image.By the end of 2023, NewtzGrady was on track to become one of the leading British holding conglomerates in the cloud computing and consumer software sectors; in the first month of trading, it launched its first project.
  • Gourmai
    Chief Operating Officer
    Gourmai Nov 2023 - Sep 2024
    Thrybergh, Rotherham, Gb
GourmAI was initially founded by Cody Wakefield. When Wakefield hired Grady's YouCloud colleague Fred Newtz to handle the company's software development in late 2023, Grady was brought on to lead the operational strategy as Chief Operating Officer.Grady initially questioned the GourmAI brand's versatility, reportedly attempting to pitch alternate names such as QuickChef, Peckish and Forkful. He designed the company's second logo, and formed their early tagline and social strategy. At the end of 2023, he began to help with the company filing and finances, although this was known to be one of his weaknesses.Grady has previously spoken out against generative AI's use in a business setting, stating that it made several of his business partners "lazy". This was, however, in-regards to job postings and website information, which often resulted in inaccurate (and occasionally misleading) pieces of text impacting brand credibility. On November 20, 2023, Grady said of the company: "the world is constantly changing, and that means we need to be investing in new technology to stay ahead of the curve. GourmAI is one of those projects that's bound to make somebody's career, and Cody is the kind of inventive mind that brings projects like this to life. I'm incredibly pleased to be getting back into the AI game, and I'm lucky that it comes with such a talented group of people."GourmAI was the 3rd company in which both Newtz and Grady have owned direct equity stakes and were named co-founders, with the others being YouCloud and NewtzGrady.
  • Buzzchat
    Chief Operating Officer
    Buzzchat Nov 2023 - Sep 2024
    Accra, Ghana , Gh
In November 2023, Grady became Chief Operating Officer (the first non-founding employee) at BuzzChat for an undisclosed equity stake. He provided help with the hiring of the company's Chief Marketing Officer, and CEO Frederick Abila credited Grady with coming up with the app's iconic new colour scheme and logo, as well as the stylisation of BuzzChat without the space.Vanta Records co-founder Vrishin Gattu, a trusted friend and confidant of Grady's, purportedly advised him not to take the deal due to social media's packed market status, and the relatively young age of the startup in question. Regardless, Grady and Aliba got along well, and Grady was quick to sign the deal. Grady said of the company:“Everybody looked at me like I was crazy for joining a social media platform in 2023, but the whole vision felt very reasonable to me. You had a young developer who had the drive to build a product and sustain it for almost three years, you had AI integration during a pivotal time for the sector, and you had the concept of an 'everything' app from a country where social networking notoriously struggled to gain traction in the past. Behind the doubts other people had, it felt like the future to me. I never saw BuzzChat as a particularly unsafe opportunity.”At the end of 2023, Grady, though once expressing skepticism about the potential for growth with the then-interface, began to more heavily back Aliba's technical outlook, agreeing that visual and UX changes could be made gradually as users adopted the technology - much like the earlier market strategy of the likes of Facebook and YouTube.
  • Zerroug Holdings
    Chairman
    Zerroug Holdings Oct 2023 - Jun 2024
In October 2023, Grady joined Moncef Zerroug in launching a new conglomerate, Zerroug Holdings, which managed a diverse portfolio of consumer product brands, including in the travel space. Many of Zerroug's product concepts utilised behavioural economics and sociological theory, leveraging the co-founders' differences in culture and background.Grady handled much of the early branding for Zerroug Holdings, including their first logo, slogan and the name itself. He also managed the company's accounting and compliance to save on initial overhead costs, although he has regularly claimed that finance is not his strongest area (despite serving as Financial Director at various organisations in the past). Grady was later voted in as Chairman of the overarching conglomerate.By the end of October 2023, Zerroug launched portable bidet manufacturer FlowRinse, with Grady leading the hiring of their Financial Director. On October 3, 2023, Grady reported that FlowRinse was a "much-needed product in the modern consumer market". Later, when asked why he'd joined such a vastly different company to his usual 'type', Grady said he felt that it was time to future-proof his portfolio against the inconsistency of technology's advancements.Despite his supposed desire to create a versatile portfolio, Grady left Zerroug Holdings in 2024 to focus on consultancy work, as well as his artificial intelligence holding company NewtzGrady.
  • Youcloud
    Corporate Specialist
    Youcloud Sep 2023 - Jun 2024
    Cologne, De
Grady had been looking for a way to tap into the cloud market for a while when he met IT consultant Fabian Dawed, who was at the time attempting to launch a cloud computing startup. Although Dawed was a highly capable and connected technical manager, he brought Grady on-board to guide the company's launch. The duo wanted to create a brand that could power the next decade of utility computing, and in 2023 YouCloud was launched.Grady notably came up with the YouCloud name, as well as the initial company logo (although this was retired shortly afterwards in favour of a more dynamic design, something he agreed was the best course of action). He also aided in the hiring of fellow co-founders Fred Newtz, Yusuf Ajadi and Romit Ray, and handled the initial company filing and registration.Grady spoke in September 2023:“YouCloud is quite possibly the most promising company I've ever worked with. Fabian is driven and capable, and he's not afraid to take a hands-on approach to management, Yusuf is incredibly open-minded and determined, Romit is a Swiss army knife of financial and compliance acumen, and Fred is by far the most well-connected, useful and approachable tech leader I've met over the course of my career.”When YouCloud launched, they initially struggled with client acquisition. Via his experience utilising a similar strategy at his own company Alliance Direct, Grady theorised that YouCloud should hire a commission sales team to work under the firm's then-CMO Ajadi.YouCloud was seen as one of the more airtight startups Grady had been involved in, largely due to CTO Newtz's technical contacts and resources (which gave the company access that a tech startup wouldn't traditionally have had without funding). Upon launch, Grady's stake in the company placed him as the third largest shareholder in YouCloud.Grady resigned as a director of YouCloud in March 2024, leaving the company altogether later that year to focus on NewtzGrady and his consultancy work.
  • Alliance Direct
    Chairman
    Alliance Direct Aug 2023 - Jun 2024
    Southport, Gb
Grady co-founded Alliance Direct in August 2023, and took up the position of Chairman on August 28, 2023, allegedly receiving all but one of the possible director votes. Grady mitigated the issues the founding team had experienced at their previous company, Semantic Holdings, by immediately zoning in on one sub-industry, minimizing the risk of confusion and lack of reach that they'd come across in their historic ventures. He also oversaw the branding strategy, arguing against the team's other name suggestions, which included Pageza Group and World Changers Enterprises, the latter of which he referred to as 'absolutely horrifying'.Grady claims he modelled the business approach (residential cleaning services where all cleaners sign NDAs) on trust, and that he believed one key reason people don't hire cleaners is embarrassment around their home. He also contacted his good friend Arcadie Grosu (GemGlobal co-founder), who offered advice on a sales strategy that put property managers, real estate agents and interior designers at the forefront.Grady led the recruitment of Alliance Direct co-founder and Chief Financial Officer Asad Ghani, as well as pushing early recruitment for the commission sales team. Notoriously tight when it comes to company financials, Grady's plan to introduce commission-based and freelance salaries (for sales agents and cleaners respectively) made a great deal of logical sense.Over the course of the first weeks at the firm, Grady supposedly criticised the team's reliance on artificial intelligence when drawing up things such as job descriptions and website content, despite the fact that he himself was majorly involved in a Turkish generative AI startup in the previous year.On paper, Grady was the largest individual shareholder when the brand was launched. In order to focus on AI ventures (via NewtzGrady) and a career in consultancy, Grady resigned from his active role in the company in June 2024.
  • Jarvis Discovery
    Corporate Specialist
    Jarvis Discovery May 2022 - May 2024
In May 2022, Grady struck a 25% deal to join Jarvis Discovery, a company that held subsidiaries across gaming, bike manufacturing, and invention licensing, as well as education. After achieving funding for the first Jarvis Discovery academic facility in Michigan, the educational segment of the firm was put under an entirely separate entity - as pushed by investors. Meanwhile, Grady worked on hiring a sales team for Jarvis' recreational vehicle division, launching Jarvis Discovery's talent management programme, and becoming a trusted business advisor to the company's CEO Alexander Jarvis himself.Shortly afterwards, Jarvis exited the deal with Grady in favour of providing 100% of a key subsidiary and 25% of the central brand to competitor, GemGlobal, in return for 25% of that company. This tore a rift in Grady and Jarvis' friendship for some time, especially since Grady's other company Semantic's CEO had also resigned to join GemGlobal. When Jarvis ultimately dropped out of the Gem deal last minute, he vowed never to do an equity deal again. Despite this, him and Grady reconnected, and Jarvis eventually decided to re-instate their original 25% deal in an act of good faith - bringing Grady back permanently.Grady would later prove to be a flagship corporate addition to the Jarvis Discovery team, spearheading the rebrand and refocus of subsidiary COLT Bikes, suggesting the relaunch of Jarvis' Hyrise Games, and acting as a driving factor behind their medical technology project, initially codenamed ZMG.
  • Morin Group
    Chairman
    Morin Group Oct 2023 - Jan 2024
Martin Aničić and Jad Morin decided to join forces with Grady, and founded Morin Group on October 12, 2023, later theorising that the best course of action would be to initially focus on the digital marketing and web development markets. With Aničić and Morin at the helm and Grady taking an integral role in its operation—theorising the first logo and name, keeping track of the books, and negotiating the company's first staff contracts—the foundation was laid for this remotely managed operation to grow exponentially.Aničić and Morin originally intended on naming their new company Great Morin but later changed the name to Morin Group under Grady's advice.Hiring, branding and registration for subsidiaries Likewise and TechBurst began by the end of October 2023, with Grady handling most of the early branding for both organisations, as well as writing up the job postings that were used for the majority of the early staffing strategy.Although Morin Group was originally focused on digital solutions, Grady had always pushed the team to launch more subsidiaries, at one point stating that the company should be launching a new agency every month. This was likely part of his wider holding company strategy, which saw him push similar developments at NewtzGrady, Zerroug Holdings and, later, Jarvis Discovery. In response to critical reports that questioned Grady's general strategy, suggesting he was spreading himself far too thin to fairly treat any of the brands he worked with, Grady commented “any team that relies entirely on me is not a strong enough team to change the world in the way I hope my portfolio will be able to. Martin and Jad are excellent leaders with a driven, hands-on approach that will see them flourish beyond the initial support I give them. I support leaders - I do not replace them.”Near the end of 2023, after Grady's conception of the Likewise brand, Aničić purportedly stated that Grady was the “wizard of names”.Morin Group was dissolved in 2024.
  • Fooboxx
    Corporate Specialist
    Fooboxx Jul 2022 - Apr 2023
    Bath, Gb
Callum L Grady was a consultant and early employee of Fooboxx, established as FOOBOXX LTD in 2021. At Fooboxx, Grady led the recruitment of the UI/UX design team, conducted the branding network initiative, and strategized in-regards to a potential equity crowdfunding campaign, as well as hiring baking entrepreneur Luis Eden as Chief Partnership Officer. Grady also organised a brief public relations blitz for joint CEOs Tom Halstead and Joe Linsky, including an interview on Charles Calzia's 'Tech Start-Up Show'.Although he was offered a contract to join the company long-term as Chief Operating Officer, Grady turned the deal down due to the low equity proposition, which he referred to as 'not worth it'. Despite this, he maintains that co-CEO Tom Halstead is a hugely talented individual with a bright future in the start-up community.
  • Semantic Holdings
    Chairman
    Semantic Holdings May 2022 - Jan 2023
    Southport, Gb
After meeting intern applicant Alex Naughton at his company GradyWalton, Grady teamed up with Alex's company Semantic as CCO - despite the fact that it reduced his GW equity by approximately 60% via an exclusivity clause. One of the first things Grady did was push for the removal of Director and General Counsel Ashley Harding (MD of subsidiary ZF Innovations), due to the fact that he didn't see the productivity in a legal lead without enough education to legally offer legal advice. In the wake of Harding's dismissal, Semantic's COO Rick Wright (MD of subsidiary TridentX) also resigned. Due to the complex share structure of the firm at that point, both ZF and TridentX were essentially lost. Despite this, the Board swiftly elected Grady as Chairman of the group.Grady later took the COO role, offering Semantic contract writer Joe Westhead a Director position, along with a 25% stake in the company. He suggested that Westhead brought more skills to a similar role that Harding had previously controlled.Grady later began negotiations, on behalf of Semantic, to acquire equity stakes in companies like DiaLearn and Llavia, offering equity in his own brands as well.Although Grady once referred to Semantic as “the perfect group”, an argument with Semantic CEO Naughton caused the company to struggle immensely. Over the following weeks, Naughton quit Semantic to join competitor GemGlobal, taking individuals like Westhead and Olaf Blom with him. Since the pair controlled Semantic's flagship subsidiaries, Semantic Travel and Semantic Airline Group, this left the core brand with little more than the deals Grady had brought himself.By mid-2022, he was the only remaining C-level employee, and controlled a 75% stake of the company. He no longer saw much value in it, though - as the team had initially been his key interest in Semantic. Shortly afterwards, he withdrew from talks with DiaLearn and Llavia, and cancelled plans to offload partial equity in his companies to Semantic.
  • Llavia
    Corporate Specialist
    Llavia Apr 2022 - Jan 2023
    Kazlicesme, Istanbul, Tr
Grady was one of the first three employees of the artificial intelligence / machine learning company Llavia, and started out as its corporate specialist. The company was notably one of the first fully functioning AI generation software startups, developed before the industry became 'mainstream'.In May 2022, Grady developed House of Llavia. HoL aimed to act as a partnership network bridging traditional designers to generative software for unique collaborations in return for equity in the independent design firms and fashion houses. Under Grady, Llavia also developed plans to achieve external funding for growth reasons.Later that year, Grady led an effort to rebrand Llavia to help create a more direct and approachable style. The new look kept the brand's signature colour scheme, but transitioned to a more unique company font, using the letter A as an arrow in the logo.By the end of 2022, Llavia was struggling to survive. Grady later issued a statement saying “despite being a frontrunner in the sector, Llavia was competing with bigger, faster, richer firms with wider market appeal. A fashion AI startup was cutting edge when we launched, but within a year, it was actually behind the times.”In early 2023, Llavia was largely abandoned, and Grady ceased his consultancy there, despite maintaining that the company's founders were “one of the most technically capable teams” he'd ever worked with. It's thought that the collapse was more due to the industry's unexpected growth levels rather than the tech itself.
  • Gradywalton
    Vice President
    Gradywalton Aug 2021 - Sep 2022
In 2021, Grady co-founded technology conglomerate GradyWalton with British entrepreneur and politician Morgan Walton, founder of GemHosting.Grady, Chairman at Walton's company Kohinoor, had become dissatisfied with their unequal deal, and had offered a new joint venture - initially known as Walton & Grady Group.Although Walton turned down Grady's offer, the pair later reconnected when Kohinoor was struggling and The Asper Company (a company Grady worked at) was collapsing. They agreed it was time for a fresh start - a joint partnership controlling all their collective corporate assets. From this, GradyWalton was born. The duo quickly absorbed the assets of Kohinoor, discontinuing the brand shortly afterwards.Grady eventually signed over a large portion of his shares to Walton when he voided their exclusivity clause in favour of joining start-up Semantic Holdings as Chief Commercial Officer. This gave Walton a significant degree of control over the company.Walton later closed GradyWalton, choosing instead to co-found GemGlobal.
  • Kohinoor Ltd.
    Chairman
    Kohinoor Ltd. Nov 2020 - Aug 2022
When Kohinoor was formed by Morgan Walton from the collapse of Hydra Incorporated, Callum L Grady soon became Chair of the Board. The company was tested during the collapsing financial climate in Britain during 2020, with the COVID-19 pandemic specifically impacting their entertainment and employment subsidiaries, but the duo negotiated the situation efficiently. On behalf of Kohinoor, Grady persuaded ex-Hydra Chairman Mebin Biju and his team to sign over the entirety of their equity in the struggling organisation, for no financial incentive. He also assisted in establishing jobs platform Vacancy4Me, and was the key force pushing the creation of Kohinoor's acquisitions arm, Kohinoor Acquisitions.During 2021, the company had a large lull in financial productivity, with a large number of subsidiaries closing that year. It was around this time that Grady took a step back from the company, selling over half of his Kohinoor stock back to Walton so that he could pursue a role at investment fund The Asper Company. This was supposedly due to Walton turning down a more equal deal with Grady.By August 2022, the company was acquired by the newly formed GradyWalton, as Grady and Walton reconnected and agreed to the joint partnership. The Kohinoor brand was retired shortly after, although the 'a Kohinoor brand' slogan still appeared on the GemHosting website for some time.Upon Kohinoor's collapse, Grady had still retained a large percentage of company stock.
  • The Asper Company
    Chief Operating Officer
The Asper Company Apr 2021 - Mar 2022
    London, Gb
In 2021, Grady joined and was the Chief Operating Officer of The Asper Company, a now-defunct investment consultancy company that notably falsely claimed to own shares in electric vehicle start-up Hydra Motors, and suggested they'd consulted for the likes of the US Securities & Exchange Commission and Berkshire Hathaway. Even before Grady joined, The Asper Company CEO Fahad Hafiz claimed to be a multi-unicorn founder, who had over $100m in net worth from Asper stock alone.During the course of his work at Asper, Grady hired the entire executive and investment teams, consulted for Hydra Motors (when he was falsely led to believe Asper owned a 15% stake in the EV manufacturing start-up), and pushed an investment middleman plan where he negotiated multimillion dollar deals. The decline of Asper began near the end of 2021, when Hafiz refused to pay staff after promising the company was able to less than a month prior. This was one backtrack of many from Hafiz, but it was ultimately the most damaging - causing many employees to threaten to sue, and one, ironically, to report them to the US Securities & Exchange Commission. When Grady handed in his resignation, Hafiz filed himself as resigning beforehand, leaving Grady to face the brunt of the company's collapse. The credibility of Asper was attributed in-part to Hafiz's personal connections (including his father, who worked high up at an energy company, where he was often in touch with US political departments), and his ability to shamelessly exaggerate his successes.Grady himself closed the company as soon as he could, and has since referred to the event as “one of [his] three biggest regrets in life, and the one time [he] genuinely planned to quit the corporate world.”
  • Verve Solutions
    Corporate Specialist
    Verve Solutions Nov 2019 - Feb 2022
In 2019, Callum L Grady met Mebin Biju via mutual business contact Morgan Walton, while he was in talks to pursue a role at Kohinoor Group. Grady joined Verve Solutions in a consultancy capacity soon thereafter, hired to change the firm's struggling financial direction. Verve's parent company Kohinoor Group was slow to see the corporate validity of Biju's deal with Grady - with Kohinoor CEO Walton initially being unhappy with the arrangement. In the start-up days of Verve Solutions, Grady rapidly changed the workforce policy, firing his first employee (Verve COO Pankaj Moon) within his first week, and implementing a low-cost internship programme shortly afterwards. As a consultant, Grady's strategic style was in stark contrast to Biju, who forged Verve's family-like workplace culture. Although he saw potential in the firm (and Biju specifically), he did not agree that the skillset of many employees fitted their roles. He thought many people had been hired for the wrong reasons, and that they should be redistributed for efficiency reasons. According to Biju, Grady "made a dramatic increase in the productivity level" of the company, and that he earned his "highest recommendation".
  • Kohinoor Acquisitions
    President
    Kohinoor Acquisitions Nov 2020 - Dec 2021
In 2020, Callum L Grady and fellow Kohinoor shareholder Morgan Walton launched Kohinoor Acquisitions, combining Grady's negotiative abilities with Walton's Kohinoor brand. As Kohinoor's mergers and acquisitions branch, Kohinoor Acquisitions submitted bids for a range of failing companies, with the intention of turning them around for a quick resale profit. By the end of the year, Kohinoor Acquisitions had submitted bids to more than 10 different organisations, but none were successful - with many people being uncertain about entrusting their brand to a relatively new company.By 2021, Grady and Walton decided to rebrand the organisation to Kohinoor Partnerships, and submit a renewed focus on working with start-ups rather than acquiring struggling established entities.Kohinoor Partnerships can be credited with consulting for Edibox, the predecessor for what eventually became recipe box start-up Fooboxx, in a deal that Grady found for the organisation. Grady began work on a business plan, marketing budget, branding edit, and more. Despite this, the company's lack of focus eventually caused Edibox CEO Joe Linsky to split from the deal.Kohinoor Partnerships' loss of Edibox was seen as a huge negative. With grants from firms such as Santander, Fooboxx became one of the fastest growing start-ups in the space.
  • Gemhosting
    Corporate Specialist
    Gemhosting Nov 2020 - Oct 2021
Grady joined the already-profitable web hosting platform in 2020, negotiating with a former employee who was allegedly attempting to steal clients from GemHosting, assisting in the branding and marketing strategy of the company, and facilitating talks with the executive team of Gem's brand partner, icrewsystems. Grady owned significant equity in both companies that owned GemHosting during his employment at the firm. Despite being relatively unknown in the start-up space, GemHosting has notably had clients all over the world - from India to the United States.
  • Vanta Records
    Chairman
    Vanta Records Aug 2021 - Sep 2021
In 2021, using connections earned from his talent management career, Grady launched the record label Vanta Records with Californian producer Gabriel Guzman and Indian music publicist Vrishin Gattu. The name "Vanta" was suggested by Guzman, although other executive staff believed it could cause confusion between them and another less established label of the same name. Whilst Guzman wanted to be Chairman of the group, the Board of Directors ultimately decided to elect Grady, due to his direct experience Chairing music industry companies in the past. Grady drew up all relevant contracts, and acted as a key negotiator with all the acts the firm initially considered signing with. He also led the strategic and industrial development of the brand, using his varied experience to provide basic legal information, as well as compliance support.Grady negotiated the signing of popular musical acts such as TikTok influencer Jon Tan, and his cousin Sean J., which was thought to have given the company an edge in the modern talent market. Vanta Records would go on to discuss a partial equity acquisition in production company MoonBox Studios.Grady's shareholding at the time of his departure from the company was estimated at 30%, which was later purchased by Guzman for an undisclosed sum. It is believed that Grady's resignation was largely due to Guzman's legally questionable removal of co-founder Gattu from the organisation. Grady also ceased his management deal with Guzman as an independent act.Grady later said of his exit from Vanta Records, “Vanta was co-founded with the vision of being proud to stand out from stereotypical shady music industry practices. What some of the Directors of Vanta have done is directly against the very spirit in which I co-launched the company.”Although all the deals were seen as being mere weeks from completion, Guzman struggled without his co-founders, and it's thought that few - if any - of the original deals were actually ever signed.
  • Hydra Electric™
    Vice President Of Human Resources
    Hydra Electric™ Jun 2021 - Sep 2021
Hydra Electric - not to be confused with Hydra Design Labs (one of Hydra Electric's manufacturing partners) or Hydra Incorporated (one of Grady's own ventures) - was incorporated in 2021 by Fahad Hafiz and Mannan Khan. Both men played active roles in the company's early development prior to Grady's involvement. Grady joined in a HR capacity, to negotiate with Hydra's manufacturers and get the best price possible. He did manage to get the manufacturing company to re-evaluate their figures, but left shortly afterwards, after realising an indiscretion in the shareholding of the arrangement.
  • Labyrinth Global
    Managing Director
    Labyrinth Global Mar 2020 - Jul 2021
Grady co-founded Labyrinth Global with Indian technology entrepreneur Mebin Biju in early 2020 after the collapse of Hydra Incorporated, and took the role of Managing Director.Labyrinth launched in Ghana as an African music management company, and sister organisation to Logical Entertainment. He kept pushing the idea, even when Logical's parent organisation Kohinoor temporarily fired him from his role at Logical for what they perceived as 'competing', although he strongly denied these claims, stating that both companies targeted entirely different countries. In mid-2020, COVID-19 caused the entertainment industry to struggle, causing Grady to suggest a rapid restructuring of Labyrinth into a consultancy firm. By the end of 2020, Grady sold his equity stake to Kohinoor so that he could become the tech conglomerate's Chairman. Despite this, he continued to play a direct role in Labyrinth for some time.Near the start of 2021, Labyrinth and Logical were both closed by Kohinoor for failing to perform as successfully as other flagship Kohinoor subsidiaries. Labyrinth Global was based in Southport, United Kingdom, and had operational headquarters in Accra, Ghana.
  • Logical Entertainment Ltd.
    Chairman
Logical Entertainment Ltd. Oct 2019 - Jul 2021
    Southport, Merseyside, Gb
In 2019, Grady co-founded the Logical Entertainment music management brand, which started as a general entertainment conglomerate covering industries such as movies, TV, gaming and sports. After acquiring 100% of the company (via purchasing his business partner's 50% stake), Grady oversaw Logical's early merger with tech conglomerate Kohinoor and business services firm Verve Solutions, forming Hydra Incorporated. During this time, he pushed to cancel all Logical departments, with an exception of talent management - which was generally seen as the company's flagship service regardless. He later reacquired a 100% stake in Logical, selling 60% to Kohinoor under undisclosed terms. In February 2021, Grady and Kohinoor listed a majority stake in Logical Entertainment for sale, pursuing talks with events entrepreneur Lewis Harper. In July 2021, after Harper dropped out of acquisition talks, the strain from the COVID-19 pandemic proved too much for Logical - and the firm finally shut its doors forever.
  • Mduk
    Financial Director
    Mduk Feb 2021 - Mar 2021
Grady formed MDUK in 2021 with his Retail Rental business partner, integrating his numerous years of sales and e-commerce experience into a platform for selling and leasing brand mascots. MDUK (also known as Mascots Direct) was essentially a more established and robust successor to Retail Rental. Grady's key role in the company was in a financial capacity, filing documents and cashflow figures with the government. In March 2021, Grady stepped down from his position at MDUK, despite the collective organisation (along with its predecessor) being his longest-serving, and very first, role.Grady said on the matter, “I have the utmost respect for the group of brands, and I'm only resigning so that I can pursue another start-up that I'm extremely excited about.”

    Corporate Specialist
    Vacancy4Me Nov 2020 - Mar 2021

While working as a self-employed lingerie salesman in Southport, Callum L Grady was contacted by theatre technician James Ray, who had recently purchased hundreds of discount lightbulbs from Clas Ohlson upon its national closure. Ray wanted help shifting the lightbulbs, and knew that Grady was an adept salesman. Although the deal didn't work out, they soon launched what became the e-commerce goods firm of Retail Rental. • Hydra Incorporated
    Chief Executive Officer
    Hydra Incorporated Nov 2019 - Feb 2020
In November 2019, it was announced that Grady was becoming CEO of Hydra Incorporated, the joint venture that was the result of Kohinoor Group's merger with Verve Solutions - and Grady's own company, Logical Entertainment. Grady was credited with spearheading the merger, which is thought to be a key reason why he was made Chief Executive Officer of the collective organisation.Upon his employment, Grady began (in conjunction with Hydra Chairman Mebin Biju) working on a subsidiary project - Lunchbox - which he claimed had the potential to disrupt the global food tech market. He also put a heavy emphasis on strategic change, pushing for Logical Entertainment to cease all operations except for its talent management department (the most successful), and helping to restructure Verve Solutions' tricky staffing situation. By the end of 2019, Lunchbox plans were scrapped, in-part due to a newfound focus on existing subsidiaries.During February 2020, Hydra announced its permanent and sudden closure, citing untenable disagreements among its 8 shareholders, as well as further issues on the Board of Directors. Grady re-took control of Hydra subsidiary Logical Entertainment, but sold a 60% stake to Kohinoor shortly afterwards, under undisclosed terms. The company was officially closed on 18th February 2020.
