I am the Quality Manager at Elmelin and am responsible for developing our process control systems, root causing non-conformances and achieving IATF 16949 certification.Elmelin is involved in a range of innovative projects focused around electric vehicles and battery storage. I manage our process development and NPI processes using an APQP framework. This ensures Elmelin delivers world-class quality products in record time and on budget.I manage safety, quality, output and cost-saving projects at Elmelin to deliver our challenging technical roadmap to ensure we remain the leader in the market.

Leixlip, Ireland

Coordinated production, solved technical issues and completed continuous improvement projects for a manufacturing group in the lithography department. I was recognised for my strong sense of ownership, technical acumen and cool head under pressure. I was promoted to a higher grade after my first year’s performance review.- Chaired the production meeting for a factory group which tracked output issues, new product introductions, process changes and major technical projects.- Completed LEAN cost saving projects including improving throughput enough that $10m of equipment could be removed to be used for expansion elsewhere.- Led a cross-department task-force which successfully identified two root causes of a persistent technical difference between the Irish site and other Intel sites in the US using model based problem solving. Designed, carried out and reviewed the data from experiments. - Trained technicians and engineers in understanding the manufacturing process and the theoretical background to semiconductor manufacturing.- Wrote SQL and JSL scripts to automate regular tasks such as data gathering, analysis and presentation.

Worked with a team of technicians troubleshooting issues as they arose in a fast-paced environment. Completed the transfer of shift engineering duties to the 24/7 technician team. - Managed the production of prototype material through the factory to tight goals. Resolved technical issues affecting production and provided updates for factory management on progress and issues. - Resolved issues with material not meeting specification and contained manufacturing problems from affecting other material. - I created procedures and documentation ensuring that tasks were completed correctly and in a standardised fashion by each shift and ensuring junior technicians had reference material to learn from. - I completed work reduction projects including automating data review to remove repetitive tasks and improve productivity.

I worked for at P&G in Brussels where I managed my own 6-month internship project. I worked between the process development and product design functions examining the physical stability of laundry liquid formulations. My project was rated as exceeding expectations. I was part of a diverse international team and my responsibilities included:- Designing experiments to meet the aims of my project- Conducting lab research - Developing predictive models - Developing innovative test methods- Assessing the effect of formula changes on processing and manufacture of products- Analysing process data and advising on corrective actions- Conducting regular presentations to update key project stakeholders and senior management from around the world.
