I worked as a general mechanic gaining hands-on experience, diagnosing, repairing and testing a range of different automobiles from small hatchbacks to large vans. Working as a mechanic allowed me to apply the theoretical knowledge gained during school, college and university to real world problems.

Achieved a Scottish Professional Diploma in Marine Engineering while gained over a year of industrial experience working onboard 2 cargo ships; the Hyundai Splendor and M/V Thuxton. During my time onshore, I developed technical engineering and safety and management skills including, hand and machine tool training, electrical and mechanical engineering.
