I am in charge of running the business day-to-day whilst meeting strict objectives set out by the company directors:- Management of grounds: 9 Hole golf course, 27 Hole FootGolf course, clay and Golf ranges. - Managing a busy clubhouse: reception, cafe and clubhouse.- Trained using the Xero accounts package. Preparing reports, sending invoices, posting invoices and statements. Dealing with credit notes. - Cash reconciliation.- Events management: dealing with large groups and parties, organising staff and instructors. - Understanding and operating at a high GP.- Being aware of costs, negotiating with supplies and customers.- Providing and ensuring my staff provide the highest levels of customer service.- Understanding a wide range of business topics; health and safety legislation, employee legislation, laws surrounding the use of shotguns and air-weapons, knowledge of the Golf, clay shooting, FootGolf, outdoor play, catering and events industries.- Using payroll and work-place pension software. - Very strong product knowledge.

Roles + Responsibilities:- Efficient use of staff to ensure golf course, driving range and other practice facilities are maintained.- Communicating clearly with club committee to create a positive relationship with management and membership.- Driving sales through events and promotions- Ensure the company webpage is kept up to date and fresh.- Control of content being published through social media platforms - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Blog- Content creator for company online booking software.- Reception duties - answering calls, taking bookings & controlling the activity diary.- Delivering junior golf coaching - Level 1 Golf- Promoting junior golf through offering membership, events and competitions.- Retail - basic knowledge of shotgun cartridges to sell to clients- Activity instructing - archery, air-rifle shooting, Segway driving
