• coordinated, reviewed, analysed and reported the key metrics of a $600m unlisted property fund.• managed fund cashflow on a day-to-day basis to meet obligations.• reviewed monthly management accounts, to ensure accuracy of fund model inputs.• managed a $300m debt facility, including ensuring compliance with loan covenants.• created a cost-to-complete schedule to forecast and track the capital expenditure of two shopping centre developments.

• Researching and producing a case to invest for two unlisted infrastructure managers, including one that specialised in energy efficiency projects. This involved meeting key investment personnel, writing meeting notes and presenting a paper to a decision-making committee. • Researching build-to-rent and digital infrastructure as emerging sectors, including analysing financial models of potential build-to-rent projects. • Writing memos on specialist topics for client consumption, including ESG greenwashing and a proposal to take over management rights of a fund. • Preparation of research presentations for conferences and Frontier’s consulting teams.

• Analysis of property and infrastructure assets to determine their appropriateness for retail investors. • Comparing fund managers and their research processes to rate the quality of different managed funds. • Communicating the rating for a given fund, and the reasons for it, in published research reports.

• Ensuring accuracy and consistency of reporting to the Roads Minister. • Evaluating business cases and liaising with VicRoads to ensure that the reports were sufficiently well prepared to be submitted.

This role chiefly involved project management responsibilities and communicating policy positions related to tolling congested roads in Auckland. More specifically duties included:• enabling internal organisational agreement to be reached, by drafting memos on what positions to take on road pricing.• contributing to timely project delivery through project planning and management support, identifying capability gaps and needs, monitoring project risks, chairing meetings, and delegating project actions.• reaching a consensus on road pricing demonstrations, by negotiating with other central and local government agencies.• providing advice on adapting business processes in order to enable the introduction of the Housing Infrastructure Fund.

I assessed and analysed the viability of planned transportation projects in New Zealand. More specifically this included:• ensuring a robust decision-making process for transportation projects by analysing the project from a variety of perspectives including, strategic, economic, financial and feasibility of use. • obtaining insights to solve practical problems, by researching reports, financial statements, industry experts and internal databases.• answering queries from inside the business, by manipulating data using excel.• communicating information in both written and spoken form to experts and non-experts.
