- Facilitate and draft FEMA Hazard Mitigation Plans for towns on Cape Cod; one of these plans broke the State record for the fastest Federal Review time due to its clarity and graphic style- Collaborated with Cape Cod Commission staff and stakeholders to develop a 3-year project on coastal resilience. The team received $500,000 from NOAA and the project was ranked in the top 5% of the nation- Fostered relationships with Outer Cape DPW Directors to assess and monitor coastal assets vulnerable to erosion, sea level rise and flooding. This collaboration lead to the creation of a Task Force and asset ranking scheme that received public recognition from MassDOT and the Federal Highway Administration- Collaborate with Commission staff to review regional coastal projects for consistency with the Regional Policy Plan and the MA Wetlands Protection Act- Applied for and received several Federal grants during 2-year tenure at the Commission and currently oversee deliverables and budgets for both projects- Lead presentations at review meetings with Town Boards; publically recognized on several occasions for delivering clear and technical presentations on hazard mitigation planning
