I hail from Reedsburg, Wisconsin, a city once known as the "Butter Capital of the World." In 2020, I earned my B.S.B. in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, with minors in Finance and Leadership. From coaching youth swim teams at the age of 14 to my current role as a trade surveillance analyst at Interactive Brokers, I’ve proven my capabilities in more fields than I can count. Along the way, I’ve cultivated a diverse skill set that defines me as a true Renaissance man.When people ask what I do for a living, I channel my best Christian Bale impression and reply, “I’m finance Batman!” In my role at Interactive Brokers, I leverage keen attention to detail and financial expertise to combat market manipulation and protect investors from financial crime. Each day brings opportunities to refine my skills in financial analysis and reporting, while further developing my writing and Excel proficiency. I thrive on devising creative solutions to novel challenges and take pride in safeguarding the integrity of financial markets.My curiosity and love for problem-solving extend beyond finance into a variety of fields, including science, history, economics, music, literature, and sports. Whether I’m compulsively clicking the "random article" link on Wikipedia or tackling a challenging project at work, my enthusiasm for learning drives me to seek understanding in every aspect of life.
