Mechanical design engineer working on the Thames Water AMP7 framework

This role involved working in a target driven environment at the heart of the UK’s leading supermarket. My main role was to replenish stock, whilst undertaking strict quality control measures. I was also involved in accurately and precisely handling cash and card payments in a fast-paced environment. Risk assessments were constantly updated, and the shop floor was kept risk free. Stock checks and takes were required to ensure high productivity at Tesco. I was entrusted with the responsibility of training new employees, enhancing my training and leadership skills. My excellent customer service skills ensured that customers were always welcome.

This temporary position focussed on the JIT production of wooden pallets. My role was to measure and grade raw material into machinery, operate machinery and quality test production lines, ensuring that each product meets the client’s requirements. This role required strong attention to detail, good accuracy and precision and time management when working towards a target.

My first role as a Poll Clerk began during the 2015 general election. The main aspects of the job was to check polling registers to ensure residents were entitled to vote. After the voting had finished, I was involved in manual counting and reconciling the ballots. This required strong teamwork skills and excellent time management. Communication was key throughout this role to ensure that no mistakes were encountered.
