Played 10 years of professional rugby at Celtic League and English Premiership level before moving into coaching in 2011. Coaching has included working as a Skills/Attack Coach with Newcastle Falcons, Head Coach of the Mens Scotland Sevens Programme, before moving into my current position as Assistant Coach (Defence) with Edinburgh Rugby. Some of my coaching highlights have included back to back World Rugby Sevens Series titles at London and being part of the Edinburgh team who have made domestic and European Champions Cup play offs. Rugby is my passion as well as my job and has given me the opportunity to visit some amazing places and work with some fantastic people and coaches. I love the diversity of the game and how it consistently evolves and adapts - there is always something new to learn. Outside of rugby, I am a qualified teacher, having completed my teaching degree in 2002. I have two kids who keep me on my toes and an old staffie, which we re-homed, called Belle.
