Trading Analyst
CurrentBlackcircles.com is the UK’s leading online tyre retailer and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Michelin PLC with Yr on Yr. sales growth of 30%+. My role in the trading team is directly concerned with business performance, adding value to sales growth and profitability. I carry out a range of business analytics on a daily basis. I collect internal data and generate reports on pricing and stock levels as well as analysing information on competitors. I am also responsible for creating profit projection reports and making recommendations according to report summaries for Director-level decision-making. Additionally, I facilitate sales orders through Amazon. This responsibility involves the logistics of sourcing orders throughout the supply-chain to retail customer in order to maximize profitability from this channel. My role also involves direct communication with the internal operations team to ensure systems are updated and accurate. Also, the accounts team for invoicing suppliers and price checking. Externally, I communicate with logistics partners and link with suppliers to investigate price and stock file discrepancies.
