Following the acquisitions of Merrill Lynch Investment Management and Barclays Global Investors, took on a senior client relationship role with responsibility for European, Asian and African clients engaged in a wide range of investment products at BlackRock.Responsible for marketing BlackRock’s Fixed Income capabilities and all aspects of client liaison for a range of clients involved with the following investment offerings - Fixed Income Investment - presenting BlackRock’s overall credentials as a European and global bond investment manager to potential new institutional clients and for conducting account reviews on existing clients’ bond portfolios. Responsible for sign-off on investment guideline and fee-related negotiations with Fixed Income clients.Fiduciary/Multi-Asset Investment – where Fixed Income is part of a multi-asset investment solution to a client’s particular needs, e.g. Foundations, entire Company pension plans. Financial Markets Advisory – a combination of security valuation, credit analysis and portfolio restructuring services for large portfolios of assets in varying degrees of distress, e.g. a European bank’s EURO 20bn liquidity portfolio.Liability Driven Investment – for mandates where variants of LDI have been chosen as the appropriate investment solution. Clients are mainly pension funds in Holland and the UK.
