(The Institute for System level Integration was a joint venture between Glasgow, Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt and Strathclyde Universities.).The EngD is a postgraduate qualification academically equivalent to a PhD but which places emphasis on research within an industrial context. It includes management modules from the MBA course from Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University. -
