This was a great government backed scheme to make households more energy efficient and to assess home owners/tenants well-being and to help in difficult situations. Ultimately a government run scheme that offered free insulation and heavy discounted other measures to reduce the overall energy consumption per household across the country. A very enjoyable job, with significant results for the community and the environment.Trained with City & Guilds certification.

Production manager for Watch Dog Timer Production, Barra Services from '05 - '06.Line production & Stores Operative for Watch Dog Timer production Barra Services '03 - '05.We designed, engineered and produced all of the Watch Dog Timers for Reuters from the mid eighties until 2006, which were shipped for use in stock exchanges around the world, from New York to Singapore. I started in line production and stores and before the end of my contract I had become the production manager. At this time we developed a Yacht Weather Watch safety system up to production launch.

Driver for Rolls Royce and Bentley heritage, P&A Wood, Dunmow, Essex.A part-time ad hock position which was very enjoyable. I loved working here, the responsibility for the cars was immense... I got to either drive, sit in, or gaze from afar at some of the most exotic machinery in the world, notably the 1920s Le mans winning Bentleys, Mille Miglia Maseratis and the incredible Napier Railton (which I push-started and was rendered deaf for a week as the engine fired). Just watching the artists and craftsmen making bodywork by hand was a truly amazing experience.
