Bahr Essalam Phase II was a large field development with reel lay and s-lay pipeline installation, trenching and back filling, xmas tree and manifold installations, spool tie ins with an 8+ month diving campaign and topside refurbishments and improvements. The Malta operations base was the hub for all project equipment, vessel mobilisations, port calls and personnel crew changes. My roles included:• Planning and execution of all mobilisations, vessels including: SAT diving, construction, pipelay, trenching, cargo and supply vessels.• Organising and supervising work teams and equipment hires for mobilisations and work in the yard and implementing a very high HSE standard• Managing all project equipment and ensuring equipment readiness and delivery to field for offshore scopes• Managing certification of all equipment, rigging, sail away certificates etc.• Point of contact onshore for project and vessel teams for equipment needed for supply runs, logistics support and site readiness for port calls. Supply runs including: pipehaul, concrete mattresses, welding gas, diving gas, GRP covers, Subsea structures, vessel provisions etc.• Logistics support for import and export with manifests, invoices etc.• Requisitions and PO’s for project equipment, seafastenings, equipment hire etc. Both local and further afield.
