Staff member for BP in the Central Subsea department. My focus is mainly to manage the North Sea IRM diving campaigns and be the key interface between internal BP stakeholders and the diving contractors, The role is the main focal point from tender to execution managing the technical and commercial aspects of the projects/campaigns. Additionally, I am the account contact for the ROV intervention tooling contract, ensuring all our BP owned tooling is maintained and serviced ready for execution.

Offshore field engineer for DOF Subsea, working primarily in Angola on the Skandi Seven construction vessel on a 6wk on/ 6wk off rotation, overseeing installation of flexible jumpers, XT's, spools etc. Responsibilities include liaising with onboard client rep, creating task plans and MOCs and managing mobilisations and port calls. During my time onshore I also support tendering activities for floating wind and decommissioning projects by completing project execution plans and proposed schedules. I was given the responsibility in making company field engineer guidelines and process for all engineers and have been creating companywide calculation sheets (excel, vba, python) for a variety of design checks.

Installation engineer in the pipeline group department working on subsea rigid pipeline installation using reel lay. Procedure writing and offshore execution on the Seven Navica on a new Norwegian field development.

Project engineer for TechnipFMC. Working with The G-1200 pipelay vessel, on S-Lay pipeline installation and heavy lift projects. 11+ week offshore Vietnam on the G1200 overseeing installation of pipelines and structures.

Project engineer in pipeline group installation team, working on S-Lay pipeline installations with the Seven Borealis. Working on the Enbridge Vito project in Gulf of Mexico, 6 weeks offshore supporting the installation, supporting and overseeing the PLET loadout on a cargo barge. Main roles including:• Producing procedures and task plans for the offshore execution• Procuring all rigging and equipment• Communication with project team, client and vessel team for planning, preparation, technical queries and risk assessments.• Ensuring offshore activities are in line with procedures and client contract• Ensuring loadouts are inline with the design, seafastening calculations and offshore installation procedure

Mobilisation engineer at the project operations base for the Bahr Essalam phase II project in Malta.Sole engineer based in the operations base for the entire 18 month duration of the Bahr Essalam Phase II project offshore Libya. Bahr Essalam Phase II was a large field development with reel lay and s-lay pipeline installation, trenching and back filling, xmas tree and manifold installations, spool tie ins with an 8+ month diving campaign and topside refurbishments and improvements. The Malta operations base was the hub for all project equipment, vessel mobilisations, port calls and personnel crew changes. My roles included:• Planning and execution of all mobilisations, vessels including: SAT diving, construction, pipelay, trenching, cargo and supply vessels.• Organising and supervising work teams and equipment hires for mobilisations and work in the yard and implementing a very high HSE standard• Managing all project equipment and ensuring equipment readiness and delivery to field for offshore scopes• Managing certification of all equipment, rigging, sail away certificates etc.• Point of contact onshore for project and vessel teams for equipment needed for supply runs, logistics support and site readiness for port calls. Supply runs including: pipehaul, concrete mattresses, welding gas, diving gas, GRP covers, Subsea structures, vessel provisions etc.• Logistics support for import and export with manifests, invoices etc.• Requisitions and PO’s for project equipment, seafastenings, equipment hire etc. Both local and further afield.

Discipline Engineer for TechnipFMC working mainly on rigid pipeline design and installation. Focusing mainly on reel lay installation method from tender, design and offshore execution stages working on 3 offshore campaigns. Reel lay Rigid pipeline installation analysis for on going projects mainly using Orcaflex working out maximum environmental loads etc. Mainly working on Enquest Kraken. Following the placement I completed my university dissertation in association with Technip focusing on installation analysis and fatigue damage differences using theoretical vessel motions with RAOs and actual vessel motions using MRU.

Placement for Fugro Seacore in Flamouth, Cornwall. Focusing on designing improvements on Jack-up barges. Including designing improvements to a walking Jack-up barge, designing a solution to allow the legs to move more freely without causing more wear. Also assisting live drilling projects on jack-up barges assisting drillers.

Employed to help implement a new vessel management software system (AMOS) on GulfMarks fleet of supply vessels. Managing and assisting the move of data from the old system to the new system. Including vessel visits and training users to work the new software.
