Linux development for NASA cFE applications using C, C++, PythonWork in Agile development environment with 2 week Sprint cycles and daily Scrum meetings. Familiar with collaboration tools Git, Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket. Familiar with VXWorks kernel. Have specific experience integrating SSL encryption with VXWorks kernel. Projects include: develop app to integrate scientific payload onto messaging bus (publish/subscribe), develop app to subscribe to messages on a specific bus for data encryption, develop app to encrypt and publish data onto bus.

Worked on developing real-time software solutions for power management systems on board the International Space Station. Designs, tests, and engineers solutions to software problems. Utilizes C++, ADA, Visual Studio, Linux, VXWorks, version control software, and other tools/technologies on a daily basis.Projects include: developed app in C++ to parse from input files, create flat versions of files, check data and message bus addresses for errors, create flight ready packages of input data to be fed into telemetry data for international space station. Maintained ADA code and tested modifications/upgrades using stand alone tests, testbed, and simulations as well as target hardware. Maintenance included modifying existing code, debugging, adding new code/functionality, unit testing, integration testing, and documentation.

Worked on developing real-time software solutions for avionics systems. Utilized Agile processes to design and engineer solutions to software problems and implemented solutions in software. Utilized C++, Visual Studio, Linux, VXWorks, IBM ClearCase, Git, and other tools/technologies on a daily basis.Projects include: developed an application to allow remote visualization of targeting and GPS data for F-15 and FA-18 aircraft. Software worked directly on the avionics hardware system to capture, relay, and visualize data in real-time. Development was accomplished in Visual Studio on a Windows machine and was ported to VXWorks and Linux.

I worked with students who have a unique transition to university life during their first 12 months at the university. I specialized in providing assistance to student Veterans, students with disabilities, and first-generation college students. I supported these students by holding monthly support meetings with the students, giving classes and presentations during new student orientations, and by connecting these students with resources to assist them in overcoming obstacles specific to their issues whether at the university or out in the community.

Initially assigned as SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) squad leader for 13 linguists assigned to the Multi-Function Platoon of D Company 41st Engineer Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 10th Mountain Division. Trained on Prophet Enhanced systems (mounted and dismounted collection system), report writing and dissemination classes, and attended low-level voice intercept training at Camp Williams in Utah. Moved to Info Collect Platoon to function as the NCOIC (non-commissioned officer in charge) of SIGINT operations for 2nd Brigade as well as squad leader for 5 35N SIGINT analysts who operate and maintain the Prophet Control system. Successfully managed collection, reporting and dissemination during a rotation at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) for the entire Brigade while working in support of 7th Infantry Division to assist in establishing the intelligence architecture that they would deploy to Afghanistan with following the JRTC rotation. Hand selected to fill the role of NCOIC of the 7th Infantry Division SIGINT Reach Back support element under 2nd Brigade 10th Mountain Division; responsible for 2 shifts of 5 SIGINT Soldiers each at Fort Drum and a collection team of 10 linguists and 2 liaisons at Fort Meade, MD. This reach back element produced daily products that were briefed to General Officers and also conducted target development, target vetting. and produced raw and completed intelligence reports. I was requested by name by 10th MTN Div leadership to continue in my role as SIGINT NCOIC after the completion of 2nd Brigade’s mission by being added to the 10th Mountain Division Reach Back element.

· Assigned to 297th Military Intelligence Battalion for the first two years. Worked in an intelligence analysis cell specializing in providing strategic and operational level all-source intelligence to units operating in the Afghanistan/Pakistan battle-space. Worked in a true Fusion environment with elements of All-Source, SIGINT (Signals Intelligence), GEOINT (Geospatial Intelligence) and HUMINT (Human Intelligence) in the section. Subsequently deployed with the 202nd Military Intelligence Battalion to Bagram Airbase, Afghanistan. During deployment worked as shift NCOIC (non-commissioned officer in charge) for All-Source Fusion support to interrogation operations for the Detention Facility in Parwan (DFIP) and disseminated collected intelligence in a daily read-book format to the intelligence community. After redeployment I was moved to the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade S3 shop to work as the Brigade land and ammo NCO responsible for scheduling sites for all local training events, managing all training ammunition for the Brigade valued in excess of 3 million dollars, conducting regular audits of units subordinate to the Brigade, and having additional duties as public affairs officer for the Brigade and assistant S3 schools NCO. While assigned to the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade I was able to attend and graduate from an advanced analysis course and ArcGIS course in Fort Belvoir, MD and earned the title of Master Analyst by meeting a set of strict milestones set by the commander of the 297th Military Intelligence Battalion.

One of the first mechanics on Boeing’s new 787 airplane line. Underwent training on working with and performing rework on carbon fiber reinforced plastics to include bonding to metallic structures. Additional training on aerospace electronics, hydraulics and powerplant (aircraft engine) systems. Worked on wing/body join initially, but was promoted to powerplant install within weeks of starting work on the first Boeing 787. Installed the engines and vertical stabilizer on the first Boeing 787 to ever roll out of the factory.

Started in 2003 as the driver for the company with the responsibility or delivering finished products to Sea-Tac Airport for shipment to the end user. Promoted 6 months later to shipping and receiving clerk; responsible for receiving and logging work orders, packaging outgoing shipments, and handling logistical and storage issues. Promoted 12 months later to parts warehouse manager; responsible for all parts and end item inventory, in excess of 1.5 million dollars, used by Soundair Repair Group. During my time as parts warehouse manager I developed the system for managing inventory and cataloging all parts that is still in use by Soundair Repair Group today.

Graduated from infantry school and airborne school at Fort Benning, GA. Assigned to 173rd Airborne0 Brigade in Vicenza, Italy. Served in two U.N. peace keeping operation missions in Kosovo in 1999 and 2001. Trained with Hungarian Special Operations Forces in 2000. Earned Expert Infantryman Badge in June 1999 in Vicenza, Italy.
