I researched and designed a formal literature review on the effectiveness of community based intervention strategies on electronic cigarette abuse in adolescents. I learned a lot about reviewing scholarly articles and research studies as well as how to effectively implement data into written literature. Some of the processes that were used in creating this literature review were researching primary, secondary and tertiary articles on related subject matter and designing/presenting a poster to outline my findings and research.Some of the skills i mastered whilst creating this literature review were time management skills, researching scholarly articles and implementing them into scholarly work.

Researched and designed health intervention for mental health education in adolescents. Worked around every detail of implementing a health intervention proposal such as outlining health issues and determinants, designing a budget, applying knowledge and resources to problems we are facing. Some of the processes i went through to create this proposal was weekly meetings with my group to discuss goals, directions of the proposal itself and utilizing our collective knowledge and research skills to create the best end product.I mastered time management and goal setting while creating this proposal and delegation of work and working on a team to effectively create an end product. I also mastered researching literature and extracting/applying the data to my work.

Researched and created a study on the effectiveness of physical activity on improving attention spans. The study consisted of our group taking a reaction time test before implementing a physical activity regime and then taking the same test after exercising for two weeks. We all then created a presentation to outline our findings. Some of the processes i used whilst completing this study and presentation were extracting pre and post intervention data from our study and synthesizing that into meta analysis.Some skills i mastered whilst creating this presentation were working on a team, implementing variables into studies, researching scholarly articles and applying data to form correlations between two variables.
