I am an accomplished media professional who began my career as an Assistant Director for the award-winning local drama series, ‘Growing Up’ with then Television Corporation of Singapore. I have since gone on to acquire in-depth knowledge and experience in the world of corporate and broadcast media- writing, producing and directing programs of various genres. My production experience transcended beyond Singapore to the Asia Pacific region where I have worked on several corporate productions in Shanghai, Beijing, Taiwan, Seoul, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. Moving on from broadcast production into the business of sports, I managed several key sports accounts as a PR practitioner before joining the Asian Tour where I was part of the senior management in its communications department. Apart from being a seasoned sports journalist, covering numerous golf tournaments including four Majors, I also headed its press operations and media partnerships. After more than a decade with the Asian Tour, I’ve since established myself as a regional media and communications consultant for news wire agencies (AFP), educational institutions, corporate MNCs and several sporting organisations including World Table Tennis and Geylang International Football Club.
