As a laboratory technician in an automotive materials testing laboratory (ISO 17025 accredited), I am responsible for performing a wide variety of test methods to industry standards (ISO, ASTM, AATCC, FMVSS, etc.). My primary responsibilities include analyzing volatile organic emissions of materials installed inside of automobiles. This includes maintenance, calibration, and operation of analytical instruments (GC-MS, HPLC, ICP-OES), sample preparation in clean environments, and maintaining traceable data records. Additional responsibilities include creating reports and communicating technical information with clients.

Helped develop new methods for identifying dye compounds in archaeological materials.
