With over 20 years of experience in pharmacovigilance (PV), I am passionate about ensuring the safety and efficacy of medicines for patients worldwide. I have a master's degree in PV and have held leadership positions in both the industry and the regulatory authority, gaining valuable insights and expertise in the PV field.As the Head of International Patient Safety at BMS I am responsible for in-country pharmacovigilance/safety teams operating across all BMS territories, ensuring compliance with global and local regulations and requirements. This includes translating global strategy into local (in-country) execution through exceptional collaboration between global and local safety teams, as well as cross-functional partners to enable a high performing pharmacovigilance and patient safety system.I have successfully led transformative initiatives relating to affiliate PV integration and international site integration into the global safety function, following a major acquisition, affiliate PV transformation to advance capabilities and the implementation of the International PV Operational Excellence team, as well as contributing to several PV publications and external courses. I am also a coach and mentor for PV and Regulatory professionals, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
