Biomedical Startups (Orthodata LLCAssenti LLC)--Digital integrated circuit design, verification, and testing of an inductively-powered sensor system for biomedical applications. Used ModelSIM for behavior/VITAL verification and Tanner Tools (LEdit,SEdit) for layout and circuit design. FPGA prototyping of system using Xilinx Spartan3 FPGAs--Developed FPGA based RFID reader system for biomedical implants (Xilinx Spartan3 based)Air Force/Department of Homeland Security Grants--Developed FPGA based multiple channel, 24-bit, high speed data acquisition and processing system. Project aimed to capture and perform FFTs in real time on 16+ data channels with ethernet data output. Implemented complete data path from acquisition, through processing, to transmission.--Debugged ADC SPI interface with a logic analyzer and oscilloscope.--Implemented a custom slim Ethernet MAC interface with UDP/IP transport. Debugged and tested using Wireshark.--Developed using VHDL in Xilinx ISE and ModelSIM for Virtex-5 and Spartan-3A DSP FPGAs--Wrote firmware for node based security system. Implemented acquisition routines and FFT libraries. Developed using C on Pic32 micro-controllers.
