At Sleeper, I contributed to the immersive fantasy sports experiences for football and basketball, enhancing app performance and network efficiency on a massive scale. My work included launching a dynamic platform for real-time sports visualizations and a live fantasy score tracker, utilizing TypeScript, React Native, GraphQL, and React Query. Additionally, I spearheaded the creation of a comprehensive web betting platform, optimizing both the infrastructure and user engagement features.

Senior Software Engineer focusing on implementation and design of our customer facing GraphQL API. Responsible for insuring schema quality, scalable implementation of resolvers and repositories, and quality end to end testing of all features. Additionally design and maintain our CI/CD pipeline using Github Actions. Additionally reworked our entire server infrastructure to be more efficient, resilient, and stable. Finally I also spent a considerable amount of time improving our product development lifecycle, converting to an agile development process, and making the companies entire product cycle more robust and less reliant on singular individuals.

Working at PigKnows is a challenging and fun opportunity where my days are split between maintaining an existing framework / architecture written in PHP / JS / C++ while also converting the old system to a very forward thinking platform using JS / ES6 / React / Next-Js / GraphQL / Apollo. This has been a very fun and challenging opportunity and my knowledge of programming design has increased daily since starting.

I worked on new features and optimizations to the core Audience Awards platform. This includes working with the newest Laravel framework, PHP, and upgrading our old Ajax / Jquery / Angular front end to the more modern ReactJS. In addition I would periodically run DevOps for our web and video transcoding servers using the IBM Softlayer and AWS services.

I worked with ReactJS / ES6 / PHP and SQL to help create and update internal tools for the Federal Transit Administration. The primary role of my position was to create and optimize existing backend features written in Symfony / Doctrine as well as create new pages and tools in ReactJS and ES6 for the front end. Our development team used an Agile Scrum workflow along with Git-Flow version control methodology.

A full service mobile application developer. Create and maintain 10+ applications created in native Objective-C, hybrid web frameworks and web applications. In general the day to day involves working in Ionic and AngularJS to update or create new hybrid mobile applications for clients or for internal use. I generally use GIT, AngularJS, Ionic, HTML / CSS, and Laravel / Lumen for any web API requirements. Generally following the Agile - Scrum development methodology along with using Git Flow version control.

As the only in-house developer for Schaaf PC I handle all of the programming for front end of 45 staff, and the back end of ~300 customers. My day to day front end tasks involve adding and updating UI / UX for staff and adding new features upon request, while my back end tasks are very API oriented. I pull and format information from 10 different and API sources and construct that data into meaningful reports for all staff and clients. Generally about half a million records are processed daily and formatted for various use cases.This system is written in PHP / MySQL and revolves around ingesting and formatting data into Googles Spreadsheets for individual viewing. In addition I handle various problem solving tasks that have been deemed unsolvable by other staff as a way to challenge myself and increase my knowledge of programming.

I lead backend development and now maintain the website theaudienceawards.com. This process included selecting server and enterprise services that would fit the product and the scale of the business, then creating the actual site using the Laravel framework that uses PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, Jquery and is hosted on Amazon Web Services. In addition to this specific features are described in detail in my "Projects" section.

I create, maintain and assist with website creation, content management, web hosting and general maintenance. I use PHP, MySQL, Javascript, Jquery, Ajax, CSS & HTML on custom made sites as well as WordPress.

I assisted customers with networking issues and internet related PC problems. I also ran diagnostic and virus removal scans on PC and Mac computers as well as general PC optimization for a user base of 14,000+ students and faculty, during the summers I installed and terminated over 30,000 ft of Ethernet and coaxial cable in existing infrastructure racks as well as installation within switch rooms. I setup and landed several switches, patch panels and servers. I performed general network and database diagnostics using SNMP and Telnet to communicate with switches and servers and programmed using PHP and MySQL.

I handled data entry for image documentation service of legal documents as well as operated Microsoft Access SQL database for the data entered. I created several small databases in Access that tied into their overall system as well as crafted several queries and functions based on the schema.
